i have some problem to shoot timelapse with my moza air 2 + a7ii, i have conect the correct cable but it cant take picture (its work well for video), i set the timelapse from the moza master apps and the app closed every time i tap the start. any solution?
I had the sane problem with my a6300. I fixed it conecting the cam to the gimbal with the mcsc-multi cable and selecting sony multi. Now i can use the timelapse funcion and i can take photos with the gimbal. For video I have to use the m3c-micro and select sony usb on the gimbal. I also put my cam in Remote PC to use the gimbal. I hope it works for you.
I wanted to do hyperlapse, but the moza master app requires selecting two paths. I wanted to walk with the gymbal during the hyperlapse. Your suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
Depends on what you do :) I love the Air 2, the fact that it's so strong, that I can see the screen, that it has screen to change settings without phone app. But... Today I was traveling to another city and I wanted to shoot something, just a casual quick shots, nothing fancy and I took Aircross as it's lighter and smaller. I had to walk all day with a backpack and every gram counts. In about aonth I'm going to Athens and I'm also taking with me Aircross for the same reasons (also chill videos, nothing commercial). But when I go for a commercial shoot I'm taking the Air 2 - I don't care about the weight as I'm usually do it by car (and I'm paid to carry it ;)) and it's faster and easier to work with. I hope this help youake your choice.
I didn't find that, in Aircross it looked the same. Would be better to have such, but usually warp stabilizer smooth it very well. These shot are straight from the camera
I don't shoot time-lapse, I roll video for hours and then I speed it up in post. can this gimbal just move from point A to point B while my camera is rolling video?
@@Editxor it's a tight fit but it fits. Of course the camera is off the gimbal. With air 2 I can still fit 2 mirrorles and couple of lenses. The main dimension for the backpack for air 2 is height, because it's pretty long gimbal
Witam.
@@BeyondTheTime THANKS for reply... well I was using canon 80D, but recently I purchased Canon R6, after getting work on it for connection via MC3 cable this shitty gimbal does not support canon R6 & R5.... but it supports EOS R and RP, customer assistance saying from 4 months "we are working on it" !!!! (I had tried what u said, but sometimes sync does not work exactly with timing, & u know, if time-lapse images aren't in flow then it will not get the proper result) DONT YOU THINK 8 months later CANON's top model still aren't support with Gudsen's top gimbal which it was in last year. ??? I'm really pissed off with this gimbal, coz its not only about time-lapse, but also I have to run in other shoots like corporate videos & wedding videos....every time I have to move my hands from R6 screen to gimbal joystick, first it was very OK with canon 80D & 90D.... but now later newer models will be launched, what will happen with new one's ? AND in box they have not given type-c cable, they are not future proof I think so ...
I think what you mean is the lack of path interpolation in the gimbal - the camera moves between points along straight lines, not some calculated curve. This is straight out of the camera material, simple Warp Stabilizer would fix that. I don't know if Moza plans to add any path interpolation. I think that when talking about gimbals only Movi does that
@@BeyondTheTime this is what i was thinking, i really hope they do add an interpolated curve feature. it would set them apart from everyone. Pozdrowienia z Kanady!
hey! great video. helped me a lot. Just got one problem, maybe you can help me. I got a similiar set up (a6300 and the moza air 2). I connected everything, I can control my camera with the gimbal, adjust the shutter, record....everything. But in the timelapse mode controlled by the moza app the camera does not take a picture. the gimbal moves, but it just takes no picture. do you have an idea? what are your usb camera settings in the camera? thanks!
