@@djegovic22 Haven't received it yet. Order is probably gonna be here in August. I think that applies to most of those who ordered this. One of the chronic issues was the wheel bleutooth connection. They got rid of that with the r12 so i'm not expecting any issues.
I only want to order 1 time from these guys as shipping and duty sucks to my location. What would be the best combo. R9 + CS wheel + KS wheel... or R12 + CS wheel
I can say both the R9 and R12 are excellent. It's really impossible for me to tell you which is better for you exactly, as it's subjective to the individual. I would suggest, though, that most people that get the R9, don't consider they need anything more than that.
Don't know if you've already ordered some stuff, but I thought I'd chime in too. All of the reviews I've seen say that if you want a larger circular wheel like the CS wheel (which weighs a ton) the R9 kind of struggles to give you the fidelity of the force feedback (the finer details like gravel or dirt). If you want the larger circular wheel like the CS wheel as well as better compatibility in the Moza ecosystem, pick the R12. You won't be compromising at all at that point. The R9 does have some compatibility shortcomings if you are trying to stay entirely in a single ecosystem like me. As someone coming from the R5 bundle and wanting to stay solely in the Moza ecosystem, I unironically like my pedal set after adding the brake kit add on. However, the Moza R9 doesn't have a "pedals" port on the back of it so upgrading pretty much means that if I want to keep my SRP lite pedals, I'd have to spend more on a wheelbase (which, in my scenario, I'm fine with). What this means for me is that I can keep the wheel (standard ES wheel that the R5 bundle came with) and the pedal set that I have and only spend money on the base at the moment. I do want to upgrade to the CS or GS wheel in the future as the ES wheel has plastic that creaks under stress. Now, my advice to you, if you don't like what I've got written here, check out Fanatec. They have a whole lot of variety and I haven't heard of many complaints on their end from their wheel bases and wheels. I'm not exactly well versed in their products so you might seek out other reviews on their product line. Feel free to ask me any questions, I'll do my best to see if I can possibly give you advice. I've been researching this crap bordering on 3ish weeks trying to figure out my next move.
Do you think the R12 is worth waiting for over the R9 V2? I just recently purchased the R9 with the RS V2 wheel and found out about the R12. Microcenter does not carry the R12 just yet and im wondering if i should just return it and wait for them to stock the R12 or should i just keep the R9v
Cool, that's a nice broad selection. The R9 is perfectly well suited for road cars, GT, and rally. I really only appreciate the extra torque of the R12 when driving formula cars, having the extra power feels more right to me (of course this is subjective). Otherwise, the R9 is excellent.
