Best sounding VC in D I've ever heard. I'm sure Mozart would have been pleased to his unappreciated pieces would shine like this.

Not many violinists give me goosebumps. Henning Kraggerud is surely one of them. His deep understanding of all kinds of music, musicanship more than showmanship, even if the tempo is high. Crisp, clear and balanced. The orchestra is one with the soloist. Bravo!

I'm back, listening to this again over a year later! I would love to hear Henning play the 1st and 2nd Mozart violin concertos as well! They just don't get enough love

I believe the cadenzas in the first and second movements are by Henning himself. (I would be happily grateful to be corrected if I am wrong.)

Ужасный темп в первой части, разрушающий музыку, созданную М. Формальная бездушная игра во второй части. Мелкая суета в третьей. Первый раз в жизни такое отвратительное от музыки Моцарта.
