The fact that there's no *required* parts-forming is the most impressive thing about this figure.

Wow his dashboard even has the red bulb/light that he talked to ratchet and cliffjumper with in pilot when he crashed off the cliff road.

Takara is pretty amazing when they want to be. 1.no backpack 2.fun intuitive transformation 3.clean look 4.great balance of playability and shelf presence 5.and cartoon accurate 6.Great articulation Bravo Takara

I have to admit, the neck gap had me worried. But the engineering with the legs and feet is amazing.

You make such high quality reviews, EmGo! You obviously take time and get to know your figures before shooting them, and it comes through when you transform them. Bravo, good sir!

I think I prefer the Fantoys Hound, but I really like the engineering that went into MP-47 to avoid partsforming and find ways to integrate its accessories into it.

The amount of knickknacks that come and store in this dude makes my brain do the biggest happy.

FINALLY, a masterpiece with a rocket launcher that is included in the transformation and doesn't just come out of nowhere!

Man, if only that price is a bit lower, this is already an auto-buy. And loved that ending skit. Poor Megs... XD

When you popped the hologram gun parts out of his legs, all I could think of was the big Destructor robot from Futurama saying " MY LEG FEELS FUNNY!"

You could do a skit where hound locks everybody out of the base and watches gem and the holograms

Waking up in the morning and watch your new review is the best way to start the day.

It seems like more love and passion was used for this figure he isn't over engineered and for once his back doesn't turn into a huge backpack I'm actually liking this figure more than mp 44 and and bumblebee and black arachnia both him and sumstreaker are both the pinicle of what masterpieces could and should be in my humble opinion

This is the MP figure I've been waiting for. Looks great! If they would just release a MP Jazz I could die happy.

I've been waiting to transform my Hound because I find EmGo's videos are the easiest for me to follow. I'm terrible at transformations so I need to go slow haha. Great video!

Okay the avoidance of partsforming by allowing the spare tire to collapse into the one foot and the gun and gas can to collapse into the other was genius. Cartoon accuracy, minimal kibble, beautiful color. A definite winner. I hope to get him someday.

The wheel folding up into the leg, the holo gun leg storage, and the soft top accessory storage literally left me with my mouth hanging out

I had a Transformers Alternators Hound (that line focused on accurate vehicle modes) and that was by far one of my favorite transformers

after all these years the g1 vehicle mode still looks pretty dang good. This was my first transformer as a kid and I loved it!

EmGo you are the man! Followed your transformation, no cracks, breaks, basically everything went smoothly for the most part. One thing I did different though, because I was fearful going into the transformation I would accidentally break around one of the many hinges, I liberally applied silicone lubricant both before transformation and on places during transformation. Maybe it's how the colors are setup on my monitor, and maybe it's the extra lighting but the green paint on yours appears brighter hue and glossy where mine looks darker and more matte...weird.

The Jeep mode looks really cool with the soft top I know it isn't cartoon accurate but still cool looking. Great review as always!

I must say I am very impressed with the engineering and the way you can either leave the accessories on or remove them for transformation! My only real fault I can find is that the winch and the mirrors aren't chromed. Love how they include the little things like the face shield and Ravage's cage key! :-D PEW PEW BANG BANG RETURNS!!! Whoo hoo!

Those people at Takara, they're Wizards, I tell ya! The way they fold in those accessories into the feet, and the wheels into the legs, there's some magic hoo-doo going on there... LOL

Thanks for your detailed transformation reviews, EmGo. I don't know if it's the type of ink/paper, or me getting older, but I have had a really hard time deciphering the instruction sheets on the last couple MPs (and given how complex they have become, this is not a good thing). I just got my hound yesterday and had opened it up, was having an awful time and thinking "I wish EmGo had done a video on him". 15 minutes later.....

Hound was always one of my favorites. I have the Alternator figure of him and that thing was impressively engineered but some of the things this does are next level. Very impressive, I may have to pick him up if I can find him for a reasonable price.

I recently got MP-47. I love its design (I admit I have to watch your videos to learn how to transform it several times ...). I am glad I didn't miss the toy just because of the bad reviews in forums.

Are you able to move the front fenders out of the way of the arms? It's my ONLY gripe about the figure(other than the price).

How is this marked for kids. Name one kid on planet Earth that A: knows about transformers masterpiece B: can afford even 1 figure C: would even be able to transform said figure without breaking it

I just transform him. have him was when just released, the rocket that connected with head with screw just brittle off. Am just the only having this problem?
