When Ruto left Raila in 2011, the script was that he is politically finished, where is he now? It's true that loyalty pay yes, but exceptions exist especially for politicians in cosmopolitan areas.
loyal in politics pay, pays who, he electorate that brought you or the parliamentarian who lines his pocked? it is the principles that matter. Democracy is strengthened and stands by having a strong opposition. It is weakened by a weak opposition. It is dependent on all of us to chose what a strong opposition looks/talks, walks like.

I love how guys who are encouraging jalas were the same one who never voted for him and will still not vote for him if he changes side. I am yet to wrap my head on the story that Heavy J (not so heavy nowadays) said that MPs were flocking statehouse for 50k and that he had been approached only for him to head there. Even the person (kalonzo) whom i thought would forsake Baba has managed to hold on, for likes of kidero its understandable but Jalang'o nope. i will never take jalang'o on his word again in politics. Am waiting for the developments in Langata to prove me wrong but still the 'BETRAYER' tag will carry on forever no doubt about it.
Am a Langata voter and I can tell you for free Jalango has achieved nothing in Langata. Am on the ground he has done little to uplift the standards of Langata constituents.

Exactly. If he truly believes the people voted for him, he should do it. Raila Odinga himself did it as Lang'ata MP back in 1994. He changed parties, resigned from his seat, stood a by election and won with his new party.
