You have said it Hon Opiyo. We support your sentiments. A Revolution is in the making. Red clouds are hovering over us and yet we fail to understand. Why????????????
Hizo pesa ni za ruto it has nothing with helping mwana nchi think of it like this if old women n old men money was taken away by the tax collector zakayo, what about the tax he hasn't said what it's going to do.
Kenyan leadership has been verbally trashing our economy even in events attended by international leaders. If a CEO talks recklessly about a business, the value of that business goes down. *Fact* . It's no surprise that the stock market is doing horribly, government-issued bonds have lower uptake, shilling loss of value has accelerated and Kenya's credit rating was downgraded to B3 just last month -- 3 downgrades in 6 months! Government not only makes borrowing difficult and expensive for itself, it spends more, then resorts to overtaxing Kenyans to compensate! Businessmen and women are voting with their money, saying they're optimistic. There's great economic value in magnanimity, reconciliation and unity of purpose!
