In this Screen Gems outtake with intermittent sound, former president Harry S. Truman discusses the logistics of the war in Japan, of trying to end the war, dropping the atomic bombs on Japan, negotiations with Soviet Premier Joseph Stalin at Potsdam about Japan, his desire not to eliminate the Emperor of Japan, and the administration of Japan after the war with General MacArthur.
