I've noticed VLC is a little lacking these days but Handbrake seems to work great. I'm yet to have any issues with it

My problem is that Premiere Pro doesn't even see the mp4 files in the folder where they are. Windows mediaplayer sees them and has no problem running them. I got the program a week now and it worked before. All it sees is a DNG.file wich is I believe a file made by my DJI drone. Do you have any clue what I did wrong?

Oh my... It couldn't see the files on the micro SD card but it does se them when I place them in a folder on my pc. -_-

@@TheJoaveck Thanks for the update. That is annoying but to be honest it will be faster to edit them from your PC anyway so it's a good thing to move them across.

well it was importing the same media yesterday, now it won't import and says everything is offline even though it is on the desktoop. Not to mention 3 of my projects were wiped completely and replaced. I have 4 of the same project, with different titles. WTF

Hi. Since am getting same errors you shared in the video and, If I have to convert slog 2 files(Zv10) to import into Premire pro using hand break software for edit and color correction of wedding films, what preset do I use, Production max or Production standard or any other option you suggest.

Are you getting the error with files straight out of the camera? I have a ZVE10 and don't have any issues straight from the camera in any of the SLOGS. Sadly I can't give you a good answer for the colour stuff and the presets. I would spend a bit of time experimenting to see what comes out looking best because it's probably quite hit and miss.

slog2 files are copied straight from the camera SD card. I have copied the files on to my harddrive, from there when I import to Premier pro I get import errors..

@@netteweds Thanks I'm curios as well. Usually it's a problem when you encode with H. 265 or AV1 but from memory I don't think the camera has options to configure those.

when i want to start encode a video that is 30minutes or more with high quality. my cpu goes 96% warm is that danger for my pc or not? Thank u

It's pretty hot but modern CPUs can handle a fair amount. Is it an AMD ryzen? Mine gets up near 95c under render and it's water cooled.

@@ALBaniator yep those bad boys run pretty hot. I've got ryzen 7 and it's very similar. Just make suelre you have a nice fan curve set for your cooling to help things a little.

Cannot get the file into the timeline no matter what I do. Have encoded it via HandShake. after doing this it still retains an extension of MP4. And will just not import into the timeline. Don't know what else to do now.

Must still be an encoding issue. What one did you use? Also sometimes just restarting Premiere will fix that issue if it's not encoding

@@JASHIKO_ nope, I didn't get any error. I clicked Start Encode and it completed and that was it. I tried going back to the same file and moving it to premiere pro and it's still just accepting the audio. should I try a different preset option?

@@teaetatv It's strange that it is only accepting the audio. Normally if there is a problem it will reject both. I would try a different preset and see what happens.

@@JASHIKO_I got it to work! So HEVC isn’t MacBook compatible. I forgot that I downloaded Adobe Media Encoder and with that you’re able to customize the export settings and problem solved. Thanks again! ✨

Davinci Resolve for me. Uses GPU more efficiently which makes a world of difference! I did you PP for a fair while though.

That's how they designed the program. I'm not sure on the specifics though. I'm guessing you are recording in obs. Just change the format to MP4 and you won't have issues. Dacinci resolve doesn't allow mkv either.

The major cause for Premiere Pro MP4 file import failure may be some required codec missing. To solve the MP4 or other incompatible issues, you're suggested to convert MP4 to Premiere Pro most edit-freindly format like MPEG2 using DumboFab video converter.
