I got it, it's pretty cool. Would be awesome if we could make generic Maschine kits as well. Also, I wish you could just dump all of the samples in the generic folder and the software could determine and separate each sound to it's respective pad. There is a VST called XO that does this incredibly well. It's just a bit tedious doing this all manually, especially if the samples aren't labelled as one of the 7 folder categories. Great start though. If you could add those two feature requests I just spoke about then this thing is a total home run. For now, it's a solid double.

Kit Maker Is Super Dope, I converted a majority of my NI Exp to MPC Kits.. Looking forward to full NI Exp conversion updates in the future.....

Issue is kits don't all have the preview function. Some don't preview. Any fix for that?

Question. If I’m using the MPC is it possible to make kit for banks A-H or will it only do the first 16 pads (bank A)? That same for Maschine and multiple groups?

when I try to import my samples which are labeled in the correct folder, it keeps botching the sample type. I'm getting percussion where kicks are supposed to be and I keep getting the same exact kits

2 questions: The pre-made categories; what I see is what I get or can i add to that? I don't see any toms or cymbals, for example. The software will use samples in those pre-made generic folders to make kits? How does that work? Will it randomly make kits? Do you set parameters? Can anyone clarify?

I'm always skeptical of any batch processing software until I know exactly what it's doing. How does it know what a (for example) kick drum sample as related to a generic library? Is it just using the file names? If so, What are those file name designations(categories)? Would it accept (bass, bassdrum, BD) Is it caps sensitive? Does it have problems with spaces or underscores? If I have different kits named with prefixes, but in the same folder would it be able to detect that or would I have to sort them myself? What about multi-velocity samples?

Will this help with my problem ? I have a Native Instruments A49 keyboard and all the softwear that comes with it inc Komplete Kontrol. I also have MPC studio 2 controler, and the MPC softwear which also comes with it. Its driving me mad, as I want to USE the Softweare/sounds within the Komplete Kontrol Native intstruments and my A49 Keyboard along with MPC beats and sound inside the MPC Studio system. The MIDI in/out and the settings and the directors of where stuff is, is NOT easy, in fact it seems most of the time, either one works and other don't, or visa versa. then the stupud keyboard best know to its self decideds its not going to work, as some settings are off or wrong, its just not playing ball, Does this make half sense where I am coming from. spent hours and hours and hours no it, I can't work out, it messes with my head. Will this this system help me sort these setup issuse out by automating most or all the above ????

Does anything like this exist FOR Machine?I love using Maschine but I have my own sample packs and I'd prefer to use my own samples but it's so tedious making kits

So browse through the folder. So for the the software use the expansion builder so you can browse the kits by expansions???

Does kit maker add the Maschine sounds with the effects on them. You know how each Maschine kit has effects so does the effects get backed into the mpc kit sound

Just picked this program up. Is there any way to make a kit with multiple banks? I want to fill bank a/b with kicks but it seems im limited to 16 samples per kit. Thank you!
