DISKO Dave did it again! DD-BBB is one of the most underrated beat makers out there who deserves mad props! Every beat he comes out with is fire! I would place him in the likes of 9th Wonder, Erick Sermon, and Alchemist. Keep doing your thing brother! 👍🏾
Definitely glad you're back! Bringing the "HiP HoP!" Murdering the pads! You know have to do another scratch vid as well bro fr! Salute, will be tuned in!
You at it again bruh! Nice work!! The joint still has that boom bap feel!! It shows that you can jump out of that 70's genre & create something dope! Well your chop game is always Ginsu! I hope you & the click have been doing well bruh. It's always good seeing y'all on here!!
It's an old beat from like 2011. you might have seen it in the video we did for our episode of Behind the Beats on Digital Hustle Films channel. That or instagram lol. But i wanted to explain the beat a little more in depth rather than just playing it
Gino Boomino just for the bassline. Sampled a bass from the microkorg. For the leads and pads I sampled myself playing and chopped it up to save space lol
cool. I was wondering how you got the mpc to play synths like that makes more sense. I had a micro korg but the keys went out , The sound is so dope though. I wish it was multitimberal.
Yeah, in the parameters screen. Oh yeah, you have to add attack and decay to the filtered sample and adjust the resonance. Just gotta mess with it til u get the desired sound you’re looking for
IMHO the old school samples had REAL instruments, the 90's had more electronic sounds that you could take from a triton, trinity etc... nuthin beats the J.B's,parliament, or KOOL and the Gang samples!!!! IJS
I totally agree 100%, but every once in a while you have to step out of your comfort zone and switch it up. I could do the 60's/70's samples in my sleep. It's good to challenge yourself while still sticking to your roots. Peace
