Yep that was likely a great experience for her. It provided exposure to peers who were ahead of her and probably helped motivate her to get better. Also the trainer's critiques of her at times, while harsh, also likely helped her grow. One can start to tune out company trainers when they always critique something, but when you hear it from someone new it has more impact. I bet that when Hongki and Seunggi really jumped on the centers that one episode, it was hard for her to hear, but it looks like she grew from it.
TBh...their music and talent is actually way better than other rookies. The only reason they are not getting enough recognition because they are from small company...but still.... They are the best monster rookies.. Just my opinion.
I can already see her as the female lead of some school chinese drama in 1 yr or 2... Or better, a historical drama (as a fierce princess)! She's what ppl call the "actress visual". Im looking forward to that day.
Love Yiren, she’s a very beautiful person but like Hongki said in P48 she’s still just showing her pretty face and isn’t telling a story. I get she’s the visual but if you’re the center of a song you have to be more than just that and tell a story. There’s only 1 emotion that I can see on her face. I wish she gave us more because she has the potential to.
I never thought Yiren would fit dark concept much better than innocent concept. If she follows this concept during Produce48, a spot in IZ*ONE will be easy like a piece of cake to her. What a shame! But glad that she debuted with Everglow and with this concept.
