i'm not part of any particular fandom but a fan of SHINee anyway. what i believe is special here is that SHINee and shawols communicate on a much more relaxed level than other artists with their fandoms can. i was at the tokyo dome concerts and although there was a lot of exitement going on i never had the impression to be surrounded by hysteria and madness. and the way they talk to their fans here is so laid back that they really make everyone comfortable like with a close acquaintance or even friend. 50.000 friends in tokyo dome ^^

one thing i like about SHINee is that minho is looked upon as equally valuable as all of them and he acts accordingly. i don't know if anybody else looks at it the same way but i sometimes have the impression that the visuals in kpop-groups are kinda inferior to the main "attractions" music-wise. but SHINee appears all-equal and i like that a lot. and i'm even saying this as somebody who's not a big fan of minho. but i'm glad he's there. does that make sense?
