Good explanation. Please create more on MPLS and BGP. My MPLS understanding has improved a lot after this, especially on PE and P Routers ... still watching the last part of it.
Great tutorial. Lots of information given which helped me understand this subject more than some other tutorials I have found. Thanks for your efforts in putting this together. 😁
Thank you for sharing this. Pls which command will I use for the hosts connecting to the first CE will be able to reach the hosts connecting to the other CE. Thanks.
1) what is the difference between l2vpn and l3vpn from customer perspective? 2) how many customers can connect to single PE with l2vpn? 3)how many customers can configure in single vrf? 4) what is the maximum vrf can be configured in PE?
PE is de router coming immediate to Customer router. P is the routers inside Service Provider. Lyk PE is the router that connects Customer network and service provider network. Others comment, if I am wrong
You can connect the CE and PE devices using a public or private network, and create a GRE tunnel between the two. Then, the CE and PE devices can communicate as if they were directly connected, and the GRE tunnel can be associated with the VPN as a physical interface.
