The designers nailed the scale..Prime is meant to be 28' and Megs is supposed to be 35'. That gives a 4:5 height ratio..Here in MPM series Prime is 24" while Megs is 30". Thus we can see the height ratio of 4:5 has been maintained.
@@hatguy7120 That's the problem with most of the G1 fans, they don't want to accept a little bit of change even though Megatron's personality never changed at all. He's still that badass robot Stalin that we all know and love back in the days.
@@notgalvatron1698 i like this megatron way more then the g1 megtron his voice and look are both more baddass and he transforms to an awesone cybertronien jet not into a freeking gun
@@David-ni5hj In some Transformers continuity Megatron is a trained warrior or a gladiator and Optimus is a clerk, so I don't know why the Optimus fanboys are moaning their asses off when he lost.
The transformation is very accurate. A noticeable detail inn the movie when is when you see Megatron transform out of alt mode you see fire from his feet, so you can tell the feet turn into rockets. The studio series didn't do this so it's great they got that part down with mp.
Starscream- I live to serve you Lord Megatron. Megatron- WHERE is the Cube? Starscream- The humans have taken it. *Megs clenches fist* Megatron- You failed me yet again Starscream. GET THEM! This Movie masterpiece is an absolute MASTERPIECE!!
Decepticon Dreythes it’s not confirmed that said leader class Megatron is TF1's, and hopely it’s not as Megatron wasn’t that big in the movie. And this one does not have chicken legs to fix the scale.
At first I felt the size was off, as toy-wise I'm used to Optimus and Megatron being just about the same height. But I forgot that Megatron was massive compared to Optimus in the movies. Both in his Movie 1 and Movie 2 forms, so yeah, now I'm okay with it.
How in the absolute friggin' HECK did you figure out his transformation without instructions?? I get so lost in transforming the normal hasbro movie figures, I couldn't possibly figure out a Masterpiece without instructions without fear of accidentally forcing or breaking something 😰 kudos to you man! Great review!
Would it be possible to do an in-depth review of the Ready-Mix? I'd be curious to see how the Silka Pro Select stands up to the competition. Thanks in advance.
Also Prime: Blows half of his head off and breaks his cannon and blows him through a pyrimd,Tooks out his head and his spine using an axe,Kicks him out of a floating chamber after he reminds him of being brothers once.
@@danklockdown9757 ooohh. I never called him that even though I've heard him say it a million times lol. With the way the movies were made I doabt they even knew best wars was a series lol
Easily my favorite movie Megatron design (closely followed up by the Last Knight Megs). Now, if the Studio series could just shrink this down to either a large Voyager or small Leader (so he's bigger than either of the SE Primes), that would be really sweet.
Just got mine in! And if you haven’t been told or found it, you can actually store his hands on his back. There are notches at then end/bottom of the jet backpack.
The perfect family portrait: Masterpiece Megatron, Masterpiece Barricade, wei Jiang Blackout, Black mamba Starscream, wei Jiang brawl, and dream factory Bonecrusher. And now hoping they’ll release studio series version of him
I'm always a BIG fan when every accessory stores in all modes so you don't need anything stored away. I don't mind partsforming but if parts have to be stored between modes it sucks. Even as a kid the g1 seeker toy bugged me. This fig is well done.
This Megatron makes me wish I never got rid of my original 2007 movie Megatron. I loved that guy I got him for Christmas one year when I was little and I loved it played with him so much the things on the sides of his arms wouldn't stay up in robot mode they would just fall back down. But that won't happen with this guy and I'm seriously considering getting him.
Looks amazing, much better than the leader class. You can see why the autobots fled when he arrived. Am fairly sure Megatron was a lot bigger than Optimus in the 1st movie.
Best comparison ! Please put more figures when it comes to compare master pieces as you did here. I wish if we can see mpm ratchet from the first movie one day
Emgo there is a website that has the height of the characters from movie one so you can kind of get the idea of how they should be scaling in robot mode. You can use it for future reference with starscream and ratchet. I will comment on this comment with a link to it. I also think you should do a video talking about what you think of starscream and ratchet as of rn. Just a thought. I hope you see this. Keep up the great work, you’re a really good guy and have made me feel less bad about playing with toys still.
Okay. I didn’t think so but I figured I would see. Personally, recently I’ve started really liking star scream so I can’t wait I think he looks incredible. I’m also a huge megatron fan so I think next time I get paid I’m finally going to get him. The only mpm figure I have is Optimus.
But yea hopefully that website is useful for you if not that’s okay. I saw that Megs is 35 feet and Prime is 28 feet so there is a 7 foot difference. I think I’m going to take there heights and scale them to that size and do the math to see how close they are. If you are interested I can let you know what I find if not no big deal. Again thank you for all you do
I love his videos over everybody else because he doesn’t just show some Godzilla figure that’s laying in the floor that I’ve never heard of for a “size comparison”. Nice to see 15 ideas if the scale on him
Pretty sure it's in the pipeline. We've gotten two versions of RotF Megs and one of DotM. I feel like we're going to get figures from the first three by the end of the series.
megatron and his alt mode in the first movie in my memory are like a fever dream, i sometimes find myself questioning whether or not it was actually real lol
You ( and Mascot!!! Sshhh... I almost forgot to mention him, Yikes!!) are by far my favorite toy reviewer. Keep up the good work and thank you for years of transformery goodness!!
