One of the most important primary structure views, the Manufacturing BOM (MBOM) is a breakdown of a three-dimensional product design consisting of part and assembly models, usually derived from an Engineering BOM (EBOM) or Computer Aided Design BOM (CAD BOM), that reflects the needs of manufacturing processes.
You must continually compare and update the EBOM and MBOM, often using an advanced accountability check, to reflect engineering and manufacturing changes that occur during the manufacturing process.
The purpose of an MBOM is to represent product assemblies and components in the context of the manufacturing process that will consume them.
An MBOM is used to perform comprehensive verification that all assemblies and components from the EBOM are consumed and produces reports that may be used to resolve any conflicts or shortages.
Many of the tools in Manufacturing Process Planner assume that you have an MBOM

My engineering bom has arrangement , supression controlled parts , position override parts. Due to this I am not able to get the desired JT view after consuming the parts from EBOM TO MBOM, can you help ?? Are we not supposed to use arrangement , supression controlled parts or position override ??
