As someone who worked in the civil service on two separate occasions, I can confirm absolutely none of the people in any position of management in the civil service could organise a bath. They are all completely incompetent chancers. I wouldn’t hire them to pull weeds from a garden.

They have no intention of answering any questions because they are not held accountable, they just say i don't know then simply walk away, what is the point in calling them in the first place ?.

They are WAY to polite with these wastes of oxygen. This whole thing is a charade, telling us what we already knew. Unless these people have legal action taken against them, and are fired for their gross negligence, then nothing will ever change

Remember people, these are the home office civil servants that the then Home Secretary complained about when she took office but rather than back her up, her own party, Labour and the majority of the public took offense to her complaining about her own civil servants and now here we are with people in here saying this man should be sacked!!! He should have been sacked when Suella Braveman complained about them but no, because she was a Conservative MP, she was attacked from all sides. she loses her job and yet this man keeps his.

Every major company has a database where they store all their statistical data, so that a full overview of key performance figures may be available within a few minutes AT ANY GIVEN TIME. How come the Home Office has no centralized database where they log important figures?
How do we get all these agency people who are supposed to be specials in hospital but havent got a clue how to wash or toilet patients. my friend has just left home care she said they are still employing anyone our elderly and disabled are being so let down by whoever is employing them ,she also thinks all the companies are getting handouts for employing them .
I've been banging on about the Home Office and it's absolute failure to manage effectively and perform at the required level for the last 4 years. The Home Office and the Civil Service have been consumed and share the same problems that are inherently destructive within the NHS. Unfit for purpose and a disgraceful lack of conscientious responsibility and awareness demonstrated here. If this man is the incumbent in setting standards, no wonder the Home Office and Civil Service more broadly are filled with detritus. Appalling.
This is very strange and stranger still that there is no mechanism seemingly for forcibly discovering the information they are asking for. I feel that illuminated in this brief discussion is the full sickness of the British State, for whilst we normal citizens live our lives struggling to better ourselves and our country, if our cumulative efforts are concentrated and then break upon the rocks that is the incompetence of the civil service, what in the end are we all striving for?
That’s Civil Servants for you. They do as little as possible, rarely anything for Conservative Governments, a bit for Labour but consider themselves their own masters.
