Will always remember this player during his active years. 15 point service over was brutal and spectators were more tamed. And whenever his match was shown on tv live we would gather around to watch. There was once perhaps sometime before the revamp to the point system he did an impressive jump smash Gilian Clark went "he look like he was taking an elevator".

This man.. I feel like hes got it all. At times he shows presence like hendra setiawan did. Trickiness and deceptions that kevin ss showed. Smash power like ahsan/ gideon has (even stronger?). Unorthodox defense like lee yong dae. A true complete package.

Actually,Candra/Sigit had been paired since coach Atik Jauhari,not Herry IP. Coach Christian Hadinata took part in combining the two so that they became a men's doubles duo that was feared by opponents. Herry IP then installed Candra/Sigit after he succeeded in bringing Candra/Tonny to the 2000 Sydney Olympics champions. The goal is to have equality in the men's doubles. More precisely,to return to their respective partners. Sigit is paired again with Candra, and Tonny is paired with Halim.

No 1 legend is the indo coach until now 2021 still looking after the national badminton team of indonesia💪💪💪
