I have a comment about Mr. ANIMATION, he did love to dance, and he was always entertaining, he had skills that set him apart from others, and he tried to be different because he knew he had to keep ahead of the game to make a living doing what he loved. Thats the key to Mr. ANIMATION, WAS LOVING WHAT HE DID. HE LOVED PEOPLE JUST AS MUCH AS DANCING FOR THEM, BUT HE REALLY LIT UP WHEN HE HAD A CROWD. HE WAS TAKEN TOO SOON, BUT HE LEFT HIS MARK ON ALOT OF YOUNG DANCERS AND PERFORMERS, AND HE GAVE BACK HIS KNOWLEDGE OF ENTERTAINING TO THE YOUNGER ONES JUST STARTING OUT.... HE IS MISSED BY HIS FANS, AND I AM ONE IF THEM.......
wiggles and animation pop since the 80s at least, that makes 32 yrs ago, salah pops since 1998, you cant compare those guys at all, they re way ahead salah, I even have a recent video in which Taco teaches salah with other students, anyway you guys can still believe the hype behind him, but even jsmooth or kidboogie are way ahead salah in poppin and animation. I saw them all dancing in real, and trained for rehearsal, and believe me there is a big difference........
Out of all the Mr Wiggles video I've seen on youtube, this is my favorite! He moves so fast in this one! He's a baaaaad man! Esta por la maceta, que se lo comio con esta!!! El tipo se embota!!!
i like this old school popping, both amazing, and i find it absolute tragic the circumstances in which mr animation died. all i see now is not popping if you know what i mean? its gone all hybrid like its developed into something that is far from popping, only popper i see now who comes across original is greenteck.
Wiggles is just too inventive and talented to be outdone. No one pops to funk music like George Clinton's funk music like my man "Mr. Wiggles". His foot and hand work is like no other. #WiggleItJustALittleBit ✌️✊
Back in 1986, when I was 9 or 10, I was stood on my school playground one day, here in Liverpool, England, and I actually came up with that last move that Animation does, where he moves backwards, all on my own, without ever having seen anyone do it before. I didn't see anyone else do it, until I saw Animation on the VHS tape of the '97 Radiotron event.
As I see comments that seem to hate on everyone for everything, and compare everybody to each other, I feel alot of you miss what these people are all about. When they all started out from nothing they did it because of loving the dancing and the way they felt doing it. They did not start by thinking how much money they were going to make. Dancers did not make much of a living when sime of them started, it was their skills that devided them from the rest of the pack, and they are all good in their own field and style. Each and everyone of them had to work hard for years, to get to where they are, and a dancer is never satisfied, they always are learning. The main reason they dance is for themselves and the love of entertaining, to make a living at this is very hard, and as you get older there are moves your brain wants to do like you use to but your body isn't having any part of it. Getting old is a fact, and its no fun for someone who has to use his or her body to perform, but they do it , pushing thru the pains in their knees, their backs, and they are lucky if thats the only places that hurt. So when I watch these videos, I do not compare, I do not judge, I feel great that they are still out there making me happy, dancing to entertain me, giving me all they can, and I hope I never see the day when they retire, or have to leave it. THEY LOVE TO DANCE, AND I LOVE THEM FOR THAT.

@wapminnin99 Yeah, I know. There's a good video of him battling some kid in the projects back when he was in his teens or early 20's. There's also one of him popping with his hair in like a pompadour and wearing like a red silk shirt and black pants back in the 70s too. Him and crazy legs break it down for us in another interview. But I noticed he pops more like the LA guys than guys like Mr Wave and other New Yorkers. I mean popping came from LA, but still...

don't really feel Mr Animation.. respect for being an OG popper that is pretty much a legend but not my thing. Much prefer Mr Wiggles, always kills it.
when you watch madonna, do you also say than that lady gaga would let her look and sound like sh...? cause that is stupid. its different generations. and mostly the new generation is inspired by the old. like madonna knew how to stay fresh and never sound old, wiggles did the same in dancing. this man has a huge arsenal of moves and styles.
Everyone thinks Michael Jackson invented the moonwalk and no one give Jeffry Daniel from Shalamar his credit, lol. I like Mr Wiggles' LA style poppin'. I never see NYC style like the poppers from the NYC Breakers circa 1984-86.

And Wiggles didn't get serious into popping until the 90's. Because he was still breakin at that time. They're all dope. Just because some dancers have been dancing longer does not automatically mean they are better. There are dancers that just learn really fast and move ahead of people who started before them.
Actually. If they pioneered originality. And your taking their moves and doing it smoother. You got to he real and humble yourself to realize. What new movesdid you come up with???? They created what had not been seen or done before. Respect your elders, especially the ogs wgo took the hits while paving this dance whi h you just jumpef on the bandwagon. These are their signature moves and style. What di you have thats truely unique????
