Nah there was a man who owned 1 he drove it to work everyday on the highway making it top out nearly everyday for months when he took it in for a service the mechanics couldn’t believe how lose some of the bolts were cause of the amount of stress the car woulda had to be under he told them what he had been doing and they just laughed. One of if not the best McLaren ever made
I met Rowan Atkinson in 1993 when I animated Zazu the bird in The Lion King, had breakfast with him at the studio and watched him record his lines and he struck me as being a completely disciplined professional who was serious about his craft.
@@Threecharacterhandle The character of Zazu had already been designed by Ellen Woodbury, and she called me unexpectedly very early one Saturday and said if I wanted to meet the voice actor i should get over to the studio commissary. We all got a free breakfast, producer Don Hahn carried on a conversation with Rowan Atkinson (whom I had never heard of before) while the rest of us listened and after coffee we went over to the sound studio and watched him do some of his lines. He was very serious and a little pissed when he didn't feel he was reading his lines quite right, and tried different inflections with each take. This was in 1993 I think. I'm retired now, and miss those days. Ellen is doing sculpture in Montana
Okay, I knew he wrecked the car, what I did not know is that he actually got it repaired in spite of the damage. That's the kind of loyalty to a vehicle that I can appreciate.
@@jch7891 I don't think anyone at the time could have predicted how much the value for that car would be, but he sure did flip it for a good amount down the proverbial road
@@SnarkyMcSnarkles they went between $800K to $1mill new, and he had it for over a decade, and it is Rowan Atkinson. Condition, exclusivity, rarity, and who owned it all play a factor
He's legit the nicest actor you could meet. He will always sit down to eat with the crew on set and get to know everyone and always has time to have a chat with you. Absolute legend
@@TheFunnyDictator I worked on set for Scooby-Doo in Queensland Australia at Warner Bros and got to meet him and saw that he preferred to hang with the crew and not the cast, alot of the other cast members were straight up divas and I won't say which ones
Really? I didn't know that. I was probably 10 when I watched it, and it seems like there were dozens and dozens of episodes..?. I guess that would be that huge impact you were talking about. Crazy. 🤔
I was born in 1990 and my sister's and I LOVED Mr bean, I even used to convince my nieces and nephews they wanted to watch the cartoon so I could too anyway I had NO idea he was world wide! I'm made up so many ppl got to experience the prime Mr bean era, he was out generations Mr beast 😂
he does love cars, whoever made this video has no clue. he has rolls royces, bentleys, fords, mclarens, lancias. bmws, aston martins and more. it is very well documented
One of the nicest actors tbf, he lived next door to my grandad in consent when they were growing up all the way until he started getting filming gigs and moved away. He still actually visits the villag and surrounding country sides regularly he was seen at the derwent reservoir near consett by one of my friends last year and he was just out in the country chilling. Pretty humble considering he’s got an estimated net worth of £200M 😂❤️
Rowan Atkinson, incredibly intelligent, made his millions acting like a fool. The complete opposite of most U.S celebrities. Also his F1 wasn't repaired with a loan.
The green mini is the fastest car ever that rolled off the factory line in human history, with a top speed of 850km/h with 5685 hp it outshadowed german engineers in a fun way
It's better for an actor to be addicted to expensive cars than to drugs and to alcohol 👍🏻 His character is amazing, especially in the movie, where Mr.Bean travels to France (Mr.Bean's Holiday)😂
