And always love him how he works with other artists... He's a versatile artist now I am missing this guy... Love the band their music is my bery first piece in music way back in the 80s abd 90s...
So awesome how Pat always had a big smile on his face but even more so when he was struggling with his disease. You can tell he felt SO happy and blessed to still be out there performing with his band. He is very much missed. I have been a fan since the beginning of this band.
Such an underrated band. Their musical prowess is undeniable yet, their catalogue is just second to none. These guys should be up there in the R'n'R Hall of fame. And Eric, whatever it is you're doing these days: we need more of your songwriting please...
underrated in USA, maybe, but they're legend status and household name in Japan, so maybe it takes a certain kind of culture to recognize and appreciate the top tier musicianship that is Misuta- Biggu
Not underrated as such, just never got the airplay they deserved due to that downer, depressin' shite that was pushed on the airwaves in the early nineties, for those of us that caught these gems live we know
Never underrated. Two of the members are virtuosos and take turns to be featured on the cover of every guitar mag. Sadly the band peaked when when grunge was in its ascendancy and MTV rock was no longer cool with kids.
(10/2020) I'm on a quest to get Mr. Big inducted!! Write to: Rock & Roll Hall of Fame /1100 Rock & Roll Blvd / Cleveland, OH 44114, USA. We the F-A-N-S owe it to them & to the memory of Pat Torpey to make this happen. They are long-deserving of this 31+yrs of appreciation & recognition. Get your friends to write in also, the more nominations that are received, then they WILL get inducted, finally, where they belong!! Thank You!!
What an awsome vid, I love just how happy they all look in this. Pat Torpey had one of the most beautiful smiles ever! But of course, Eric, Billy and Paul have great smiles too! ;) Lucky people in Budokan, wish I could've been there.
Love them and their music is my very first to play in guitar way back 80s and 90s..and now I will introduce them to my daughter... I bought a guitar and a drum set, and I'll tell my daughter how good is Pat..
LOVE LOVE LOVE this band!!! And Eric and Andre are my favorite songwriting duo. And this is my favorite of their songs. I love the hard rocking Mr. Big songs too of course, but there's just something about this one that has taken root in my heart and will live there forever.
Only happens if each of the members have talent and technical proficiency to be music instructors if they want to. Mr. Big is one of those very few bands.
They're not young anymore, but still they rock the world! Check this out "4:10 - 4:15" they sing YEAH and look at those happy faces (Billy, Eric and Pat) :)
Someone said life is for the taking Here I am with my hand out waiting for a ride I've been living on my great expectations What good is it when I'm stranded here And the world just passes by Where are the signs to help me get out of this place If I should stumble on my moment in time, How will I know? If the story's written on my face, does it show? Am I strong enough to walk on water Smart enough to come in out of the rain? Or am I a fool going where the wind blows (wind blows)? Here I sit halfway to somewhere Thinking about what's in front of me and what I left behind On my own, supposed to be so easy Is this what I've been after Or have I lost my mind? Maybe this is my chance and it's coming to take me away, yeah If I should stumble on my moment in time, How will I know? If the story's written on my face, does it show? Am I strong enough to walk on water Smart enough to come in out of the rain? Or am I a fool going where the wind blows (wind blows)? Here I am walking naked through the world Taking up space, society's child Make room for me, make room for me, make room for me Am I strong enough to walk on water? Smart enough to come in out of the rain? Or am I a fool Going where the wind blows (where the wind blows), Going where the wind blows?
