(C) BBC TELEVISION 1993 Mr Blobby goes on holiday with Mrs Blobby. My next Blobby video that I'll be uploading is Mr Blobby learns all about the weather with Francis Wilson. Enjoy!!
Imagine being one of those extras, (or probably genuinely unaware civilians) trying to go about their travels, watching this giant pink thing flop around.
I'm in tears - I only remember him from Noel's House Party where he'd just shriek his own name in a high-pitched voice, I had no idea he used to grunt and hyperventilate like some kind of perverted walrus!
This must be Premium Economy at the very least, the leg room he’s got is unparalleled. And has everyone else except Noel and airline Captain’s had their voiceboxes removed?
You wouldn't be saying that if you'd been obese with even a slight speech impediment. Thank God I'd long left school by tbe time this came out. But the life of many kids was made hell by this !
My family used to have a video of this but my mum threw it away because I was terrified of it. I find it hilarious now I wish my mum never threw it out.
Can't belive I used to love this. Also can't belive at 18 years old my mum just bought me a Mr Blobby plushie. don't know whether to love it or be terrified of it...
Never mind the nightmares this caused. Imagine the trauma from having been on set and making this. Imagine wearing that mr blobby suit. Imagine talking to it like a normal person for the camera. Those poor people...
Actually I love British comedy and not just me by far. I'm delighted by this demonic, screaming hell baby and would of preferred him over god damn Barney. You're a T-Rex Barney, you should EAT THE CHILDREN!!!
If you told me this thing was responsible for Britain's extremely pessimistic and cynical streak (i.e. Black Mirror, Radiohead music) I would believe you. It's beyond upsetting.
It's funny how British media can be both grimdark (Judge Dredd, Warhammer, Sex Pistols and Threads) and goofy (This Blobby bloke, the Wombles and Doctor Who).
Ok I just found out about this thing because I’m American and the sounds it makes and terrifying. I’m glad that I had Barney instead, he wasn’t terrifying.
People didn't realize and they still don't, but I'm sure his time will come. Just like Van Gogh and Galileo Galilei only got their recognition after they died.
