@@jamesvail4927 he went crazy in the store, so why is it smart to say he went crazy in the stor but he seems alright now? He was the undercover cop right?
Reason Pink hesitated to tattle on Blondie is because he is the most professional of them all. He didnt even tattle on White who almost attempted to kill him few moments before
I know like Eddie doesn't know his pal is an absolute psychopath. Madsen has always been under-rated. He was in an awesome but sadly cancelled tv show called Vengeance Unlimited I highly recommend it.
He's the main reason the film happened, and he's the reason we're blessed with Tarantino to this day, funded the film, helped bring together an amazing cast and allowed Tarantino to go sky high in cinema
@@xXLeAkErXx I loved Harvey's acting, but I feel like Mr. White kind of fucked everyone a bit, so his character is a little less "likable" than Mr. Pink who mostly kept his head on his shoulders and tried to be pragmatic during the whole ordeal. Mr. White was supposed to be the most seasoned and experienced crook out of all of them, but he honestly made the most mistakes. As far as Harvey Keitel the actor goes, I always thought he was great in pretty much every film he is in, and I don't think he really gets enough recognition like did you see his part in the duelist? The dude is just fun to watch.
That's because George Lucas is a lousy ass writer who obviously has no clue about people and how they behave. Tarantino can make even banal discussions sound interesting and often they serve as an allegory for something that ties to the scene itself.
I don't know how much of this is scripted or improvised, but god damn what a great scene. The back and forth between Keitel and Madsen is so 'natural', like you're actually watching a couple of wiseguys go at it. That little bow Mr. Blonde does kills me every time.
I like how the door opened by itself but they played it into the film and ended up right back in their set positions to deliver the next line perfectly on time.
Even though the robbery is never shown, you can more or less tell what went down. Alarm gets hit, White goes towards the person who hit it to rough em up or scare em, maybe even grabs em, and Blonde shoots em while he was right by em, before executing hostages one by one. To Blonde, it's as simple as "I told you: don't hit the alarm or you're all gonna die."
Mr. White's character never seems like the coolest, wittiest character and even seems like a tattle-tale here, but then he busts out with line "That's your excuse for going on a kill-crazy rampage" and TOTALLY REDEEMS HIMSELF.
Aside from Blue, he's probably the senior of the group, so you reckon he has seen some crazy stuff. His words carry weight too. Wish we got a solo Keitel movie from Quentin
@@trenchcoatjoe1891 Exactly. In fact, he's clearly the dimmest member of the team, which is why Pink is always explaining shit to him (and his last name is Dimmick, which might even be an inside joke). But he's not supposed to be particularly smart or witty; he's just the seasoned older guy who's tough as nails.
This is one of 10, maybe 20 movies, where the chemistry between every single pair of actors talking to each other is just ABSOLUTE. Tarantino should teach every single director how to lead actors.
This is such a great movie. See you dont need any kind of big special effects and cgi shit. Good dialogue, an interesting story, some good actors and the right camera work make a fantastic movie.
I’m scared to think of what he would be like in the morning: his alarm clock goes off and he just unloads a clip into it and Mr. White comes in and says: “why’d you do that?!” To which he replies: “I don’t like alarms, Mr. White.”
“Mr white whips out his gun, he’s stickin it in my face callin me a motherfucker” And the little bow all the while sitting on a hearse, absolutely perfect
Yeah Larry should of been left to babysit he would of probably whispered sweet nothings to his Mr Orange. I wonder what Freddy would of say if it was him Larry and the cop Marvin remember Marvin wasn't there to begin he never saw how close freddy and Larry were together and Marvin wasn't going to rat out freddy for anything
Nice Guy Eddie have a lot of rhymes in your lines, look: "Sam´s hot car lot" "Nobody´s got a clue what happen´ Mr. Blue" "I don´t know who´s dead, i don´t know who´s alive, i don´t know who´s caught, i don´t know who´s not" hahaha, Tarantino is a genius.
We already knew that Keitel is a pro actor; Madsen was the sweet surprise in Dogs. And then we get another round of Budd in Kill Bill. Madsen in Kill Bill is priceless. "...that fuckin hat. Don't wear that shitkicker hat!"
The only fuckup in this scene is how Mr White says to Mr Pink, "you said yourself you thought about shooting him!" Except that's what Mr White said HE nearly did.
Mr blonde did tell them not to press the funking alarm, but his request was ignored. I think it's perfectly understandable that he went on a shooting sphree. Top man
Anyone noticed how Tarantino's favourite film is The Good The Bad and The Ugly, and how Blonde is the absolute antithesis, tall, Alpha, of Blondie, No Name.
Kelly14UK Kelly "antithesis" means Opposite. Michael Madsen (Mr Blonde) is the tallest guy in the crew and about as "alpha" as a guy can get. Also, Mr Blonde's name is Vincent "Toothpick Vic" Vega (they even give his nickname during his intro scene in Joe's office). I'm not trying to be a jerk, I just love this movie (and the Good, Bad + The Ugly), and I'm trying to figure out what you're saying here...
Unclever UserName Both Blondie and Blonde are tall, good looking, how guys want to look. Character wise, Blonde is the opposite of Blondie, a good guy.No Name would never do these things even to bad guys. Blonde, I clapped when he got shot. I hated him.
"I told them not to touch the fucking alarms, and they did, if they didn't do what I told them not to do, they'd still be alive" Claps) "My fucking hero""!!! (Claps) - Mr White Claps (Bows) - Mr Blonde "Thats your excuse for going on an kill crazy rampage? "I don't like alarms Mr White"
“You see what I’ve been dealing with Eddie? I fuckin walked in here, I told these guys about stayin put. Mr. White pulls out his gun, he starts sticking it in my face calling me a motherfucker. Saying he’s gonna blow me away. Blah blah blah”
*Trying to get all the "collectors editions" on Blu Ray. So far I got the Gasoline tin, the 4k Limited Edition & the Steelbook, now I am contemplating paying out hundreds for the limited LIMITED edition. There is only 250 in existence.*
how come the police arrived so late to their hideout? They turn up at some point, so they obviously knew from Mr. Orange way before they got there right?
They were waiting for the boss, Joe Cabot, to show up so they could attempt an arrest... Mr. Orange explains this to Marvin after he shoots Mr Blonde...
