That part at 2:06, Scott looked at me and I was bobbing my head to his guitar playing-and he agreed & started to bob at the same rhythm, that was awesome LMFAO...Fuckin' best show I'v been to in a long time... +Definitely recommend Terminal 5...
On one hand, im glad i saw all my fav bands like Mr.B before the crowd was just a bunch of glowing cell phones when mosh pits, stage diving, and crowd surfing were common. On the other hand...im glad we can get clear footage easily...and I'm not sure my 40+ yo body would survive a brutal, 90s style mosh pit😂 anymore. Ass is on fire sounds weird without brass section
I agree I find myself torn most times but on this occasion I felt it warranted being recorded so I myself could relive it and those that couldn't attend could enjoy it. Most shows these days I try to keep my phone in my pocket only taking the occasional photo or video when it's a song I really like.
We're growing down, sadly. Re MAIOF, yeah sax would improve it but they pulled it off imo. Still, Mr.B as five piece is weird. Shame no Pink Cigarette, nice to bob about.
I saw Pantera with Metallica in august at Metlife Stadium in New Jersey and I saw Mr. Bungle at Terminal 5 in New York City and both shows were awesome!!
Ok, the performace is great.... But I miss the old mr bungle, who was about every kind of music. Here it s 90% metal... I ike this style but for me the interesting things about this band was how versatil it was
They played My Ass Is On Fire, so who knows. Maybe Mike is throwing feelers out there to see how the crowd reacts. Good reception so far, so maybe we will slowly get more old-school Bungle as time goes on.
If Patton said it's Mr Bungle....it's Mr Bungle. When did Mr Bungle ever have a particular sound? We'll just go off the main albums...Mr Bungle self title, Disco Volante and California....not mentioning his project albums, Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny back in 1986, when this was originally done. No single album has a particular sound. To say this "isn't Bungle" is ignorant, cause this is what literally started Mr Bungle.....smh Either way, I'm stoked for the Atlanta show in May.
They’ve always had a hard edge but it’s entirely untrue that no single album has a particular sound. Obviously this screaming and noise sounds nothing like California. They have an eclectic style but this shit is all just screaming into the microphone and senseless noise. There’s no melody at all. Just fast drums and banging and yelling. This is more like one of his shitty side projects than Mr. Bungle.
@@alecUNHBungle literally started as a thrash metal band. This IS Bungle. The 3 founding members are here - Trey, Mike and Trevor, they formed this band in high school and this is EXACTLY how they sounded until they signed to WB in the early 90s. Raging Wrath was a demo from the 80s. This is when I first heard them - via a Californian exchange student at my art college when I was 17 who gave me this tape. I was listening to a lot of post-punk US hardcore at the time and LOVED Raging Wrath! My friends at the time were in a band just like this. It felt like we already knew them. I guess maybe you had to be there. But those of us that were are loving this bare bones reunion project and they look like they’re really enjoying it, which is the whole point. On top of that, Trey, Mike and Trevor now get to play in their band with two of their heroes. If you don’t like it just don’t listen. But don’t say you’ll stick to the old stuff… because this IS the old stuff! The commenter above is right. Bungle is whatever Bungle says it is, they get to choose. That’s the way it is and has always been - and that what makes them unique. I have unashamedly loved this band for over 30 years for being the talented freaks and outliers they are, they have the highest principles when it comes to music and the music business. We are lucky to see them back! I cannot wait to see them in the UK this summer, it’s a sell out, and I feel as privileged as hell.
It is Mr Bungle. Unfortunately the only shitty record they made. It was very average 30 years ago, it did not get any better. Such a waste of talent playing this crap.
Band is tight af. Mike is missing that spark, energy, madness, charm and quality that he had before. Wich is completely fine I have mad respect for him but I will rather stick to stuff untiil 2005 or so. I wish they make a new singl or maybe record some of the leftovers from California that Dunn was talking about in one of the interviews. Looking forward to new SC3 thought! Hope it happens this year lol
