try Mr Bungle ~ Quote Unquote (official video) more structure ;) this live version is pretty detached from the original, i would say bungle has more structure usually but its not always the case ;) but cant deny, Bungle is pure genius if you appreciate more complex music and crossing genres without limits. also, Mike Patton singing (of Faith No More and many other bands) is known for his vocal agility, he can basically do it all with his 6 octave vocal range. its a long and entertaining journey following his work.

Mr. bungle? Oh, this should be fun. I’m sure you guys will be incredibly open-minded and kind...but this one...fun. Mike Patton is a great vocalist. But they really throw all conventions and expectations out the window. Just all out absurdity. (To be honest, one of the most hilarious reactions I’ve ever seen was Trey David’s reaction to Mr. Bungle’s “Quote Unquote”.) Also, Jinjer “Pisces”...please? 😊 As far as drinks, I like the Scarlet O’Hara: Southern Comfort, cranberry juice and a splash of lime.

Studio version is a better experience if you are not already a mr bungle/mike patton fan, I appreciate you guys being willing to jump into something like mr bungle though, Mike Patton is an amazing vocalist probably one of the most iconic of our generation, id recommend checking out more of his work with Faith No More, my personal favorite is "caffeine" but "sunny side up" on their newer album is a good listen too! Love yalls show keep it up!

Just to tell you a little history. 1978 my sister let me listen to Alice Cooper's "only women bleed".. I was like ok weird rock music...forward to 1979 listened to Black Sabbath for the first time.. I thought I was in for trouble... forward to the early 1980's Ozzy, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest??!! We used to play hookey to listen to these albums... forward to thrash metal.. Slayer Metallica Anthrax Megadeath Exodus..I always thought Sepultura was superior to Metallica (still do).. forward to 9- 11 some shit is going to change.... forward to now 2019 still going strong still hitting hard as hell.. I want to thank the bands that got me here they have carried through the death of my parents and many more... i am so glad you both are carrying on the the tradition of learning, experiencing, and enjoying!!! 42 years on, I am still on learning this precious genre... Metal is ours and will always be! I just wanted to Express my appreciation for what you and Jay are doing.. Thanks.

While he is an extremely talented musician and songwriter, Mike Patton (and pretty much every band or project he has been in) is an acquired taste. If you would like to hear something a bit more palatable from Patton, check out the song EPIC from his other band, Faith No More.

I commend you for watching the whole song.... their live performances are never as good as the studio versions because like you had noticed they use a ton of instruments. That being said, they are actually insanely gifted and genius when it comes to their craft. They have other more 'mainstream` bands they play in to pay the bills. Mr. Bungle is essentially what happens when several gifted musicians get bored and decide to flex by pushing the boundaries of music (as you could see it's quite experimental in nature. LOVE your reactions and willingness to listen with an open mind. If you truly want to listen to Mr. Bungle then I believe the studio version of squeeze me macaroni would be your best shot (IMHO). Keep up the great work......you have a new sub!
