Mike Patton is one of the most unique and incredible artists that I've had the privilege of finding.

Another awesome reaction!!! The song is really cool and glad you checked out a live version, I actually prefer it to the studio version. And the bass player is Trevor Dunn, literally my favourite human and definitely deserves more appreciation ❤️

You got to do Merry Go Bye Bye John G, its starts out as a 50s pop tune, before bursting into crazy noises then becoming Lo Fi Death Metal. Fun Facts : Scott Ian and Dave Lombardo are now both members of Mr. Bungle, as the band has returned to their Thrash Metal/Hardcore Punk roots. Serj from SOAD is a big Patton fan, and If Rob Halford is the Metal God, then Patton is the Alt. Metal God and a huge influence on a lot of bands from the last 20 years or so.

That isn't Doo Wop. It's a song called Ei Raat Tomar Amar by Humant Kumar, great vibes and very apt for Mr. B.

not the best live version of this song. all a bit over the place not the best mix. try their 1991 shows to get a more proper and even crazier version of travolta. SOAD and all the nu metal bands where influenced by the Crossover bands from late 80s-first 90s. It´s about genres. Before the grunge explosion, the first breakdown against established mtv hair metal begun with the unorthodox meeting of Trash-Anthrax & HipHop-Public Enemy, and other crossover proposals like RHCP, FNM, Ugly Kid Joe, Extreme, etc. The charisma, crazy atittude and amazing skills of Mike Patton in FNM and Mr. Bungle, made him a confessed influence for all the bands who lately where included in the nu metal as a new genre in the mid90s: Korn, deftones, SOAD, etc. So, yes, the first time I listened Korn, or SOAD, or Slipknot, I thought they were a commercial version of the crossover bands. The standarized version of the unorthodoxy spirit that emerged from the example of RHCP or FNM in their commercial context combined with the fatal somber spirit of the generation x expressed by the grunge genre and bands like Tool or NIN.
