Oh. Such a tragedy his resignation, put me into power but even still he’s was always a good leader of the Conservative Party. He had tried to give us “Peace in our Time”. Heir Hitler will get what Mr. Chamberlain wanted, by force we shall have “Peace in our time”.

He wasn't trying to be Hitler's friend, he was trying to stop the UK being sucked into a war that they weren't prepared enough to handle.

@Walter Zama given the official version of events that we're all used to hearing, it may seem to you a shock when I say to you here that Hitler was actually attempting to bring permanent peace to Europe. I implore you to look into his negotiations(from early 1939) with Polish marshall Edward Rydz Smigley and foreign minister Josef Beck. Look into how Smigley + Beck refused all offers of resolving the critical issues of the future status of Danzig (now Gdansk) and East Prussia. A proposal was made to Poland to build a 1 mile wide corridor into Danzig from Germany. Another offer was made to place a multi-national force of peacekeeping soldiers there, so making it a neutral territory. These more than reasonable proposals were made by Hitler, but unfortunately President Roosevelt was very active as an advisor to Polands leaders at that time : no civilized negotiations with Germany. Then the killings of German minorities began in July, and quickly escalated into an orgy of violence, torture and murder by press enraged mobs and militia the now Polish areas that used to be German land. Then Hitler invaded on Sept 1st 1939 to try to put a stop to these barbaric killings. On Sept 3rd 3,000 souls were massacred in the town of Bromberg(now Bydgoscz) by the Polish army and press enraged mobs. Many of these German victims' bodies were found horribly mutilated with evidence they'd been tortured before being killed. This is was the only reason Germany crossed into Poland on Sept 1st 1939. To stop these killings...

why did he gave poland a guarantee if he wanted to be getmabys friend? he was much better than churchill, this drunken swine, but he built a trap for germany and so he destroyed the empire in the long run.

Less than six months after his resignation, he was cremated before his funeral ~ Murdered.

Ultimately made no difference. Hitler was going to take the Sudetenland, the rest of Czechkoslovakia and Poland appeasement or not and thus kick off the war no matter what

@chrismc410 Do you know the real reason why Germany crossed over into Polish territory on Sept 1st 1939? Do you know that Poland was refusing to negotiate with Germany over the future of Danzig and East Prussia...

🕵️ Negotiated Peace wasn't worth the Paper it was written on and Hitler certainly didn't help his cause. A Leader failing to deliver what they promise shouldn't be allowed to stay. Chamberlain certainly wasn't up to the job of leading the country into War after that Humiliation! Perhaps you prefer inept Politician's that Lie after messing up. Like Trump and Boris, who stick around like the Plague! L😷L

He failed his country .. it’s understandable why Britain didn’t want war with hitler but they knew full well hitler couldn’t be contained and that eventually war was the answer .. hitler wanted no peace

He was unable to form a National Government ie including Labour, therefore I don’t think it fair to say that he was stabbed in the back. He did side with Churchill, Attlee and Greenwood against Halifax in the war cabinet a few days later. This was in the matter of continuing the struggle against Hitler after the debacle at Dunkirk. This was no small decision as Chamberlain was still the leader of the Conservative party and in effect counted a significant number of MPs on his side.
