My pops was seasoned and taught me personally never say the N word.My circle all grew up the same way.Though vato’s need to understand we should not ride on anyone’s coat tail.
Awebo!!! that right there is how we show how proud of who we are. We have our own palabras, our own cultura! another issue is that most of our young are loosing their cultura and now learn from most popular hip hop culture and well we all know who run that.
IF YOU ARE NOT BLACK YOU DONT SAY IT PERIOD. I hope us black folk come together and flip this shit and start calling each other wet backs and spics ( lets see if yall keep that same energy)- Its hella disrepectful and its honestly politically incorrect. The N word means = BLACK MAN OR BLACK WOMAN- not to be confused with "bro" SMFH Fix it black Jesus
@@thehelm658 @The Helm before coming together and choosing to call each other those terms in response to Latinos using the n word it would make sense to come together and come to a consensus and say that it is not ok for that word to come out of ANY one that is not black. In other words not every black feel the same way you do. The Brothas that I respectfully function with and coexist with here in LA, 80 percent are okay with others using that word when used as a term of endearment, and I would even say that it is indirectly encouraged. I seen it with my own eyes. I used to speak up when I would hear a Latino use that word but than I would see that the same Latino would use the same vocabulary when they are around the black homies, and the blacks were ok I decided that I would no longer say anything. Did not change the way I feel, I am just not going to fight that battle. I have neices and nephews that are half black and I tell them not to tolerate that when they hear that word coming out of a non Black, I remind them that their grandparents were discriminated against and could not drink out of the same fountain as whites just solely due to the color of their skin. I remind them the hate that word carried and how their grandparents were harassed on a daily basis with that word. In response to saying "I hope to us blacks coming together and flipping it and using wetback and spicy" thats ignorant and makes no sense, I never heard a Latino call each other a wet back or spic as a term of endearment.
I am completely confused and please do not confuse my confusion with a means to be and or appear " condescending, but please help me make sense of your statement etc.. Ok for starters and for clarity purposes and to clear up any any lack of understanding on my part, it appears that you are crystal clear somewhat in regards to HOW and WHY Black people use the term "Nigga" and then further on down the line you mentioned how it would not make sense for it to be otherwise flipped because the word Wetback Spic etc etc were never utilized as terms of endearment correct? From your very last key point- which I completely appreciate, understand and get your point- however I had to sit and ask myself the question that any Black person would ask as it pertains to your entire comment- So again- it's acknowledged as a term of endearment, however one can assume (and please correct me if I am wrong) that you also Then understand how the term was used prior to it being as its current day "term of endearment". In other words, do you understand what the term meant and how it was used prior to African Americans taking the term back and utilizing it amongst ONE ANOTHER as that term of endearment? For education sake, the term NIGGA and or prior/pre So I understand you have somewhat and/or passively acknowledged the meaning and overall the in otherwords "taking back" of a Word that was once used as a deragotory noun/label and description to identify any one of the AFRICAN race ie. "Africans and or African Slaves at that prehistoric time"- and then later used the term to otherwise identify and depict "African Americans"after the abolition of slavery. I appreciate that you are identifying that this is a major problem and I am about to BLOW your mind with this very simplistic and honestly commonsensical explanation (although and CLEARLY "common sense is not always COMMON". There is NO need to sit down as a general population to determine x, y and Z- because the term is and ALWAYS has been a term regardless of the manner in which it is utilized- it is a TERM that describes the AFRICAN AMERICAN RACE- NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH "Bro"!! That is the reason and only the refuse I propose Black people start turning shit around and calling themselves other wise words made up and given to a very pinpoint specific and SINGLE race- ie "Cracker- aka WHITE people'', ie. "Red Dot- South Asians or otherwise "INDIA descendants", ie " wet backs, spics "Latino/Latina", ie. "CHINKS aka Asians" etc etc etc. If the Word NIGGER and later changed as taken back to "NIGGA" CLEARLY HAS AND ALWAYS HAS MEANT "AFRICAN AMERICAN MAN AND/or African American Woman- in otherwords in your case being Latino etc etc- lets say the word Latino was once said to be "Latinear" or something of that nature- previously symbolic for negative deragoroty depiction of any one of latino origin ( you get what Im saying im sure lol)- but at any rate- PLEASE make it make sense- if Latinos/Latinas came together like Black folks did and created a SOLE and unique term of endearment under the same circumstances- and then lets say popular culture took off ie- reggaeton, salsa, merengue batatcha main streamed popularized the genre etc etc- TELL ME honestly- how you would NOT as a clearly intelligent person- NOT BAT a damn eye! Overall in summary- the word NIGGER OR NIGGA translates to " AFRICAN AMERICAN and or THE BLACK RACE ie a BLACK human being!!!- SO how in the entire fuck of fucks (excuse my language) does ANY NON BLACK RACE justify using the word amongst ANYONE regardless of if it is amongst ANYONE in general (which seems to be the norm smfh) or the other obsvious situation is using it toward a BLACK persob- which where I am from (regarless of WHERE you grow up)- is a STRAIGHT damn near murder scene of an ass whoppin! )So overall and - MORE IMPORTANTLY HOW IN the SAMBO HELL is ANY ONE NON BLACK using the term even "politically correct"??????? I am going to leave you with that and assume you get my point- The word has been popularized because for some weird ass reason "BLACK culture" primarily Black hip hop and or rap culture took off went mainstream (and that's cool (side eye I guess lol) Not sure why people are so obsessed with a race and culture they are NOT apart of etc etc- I can talk for hours about the hella weird cringeworthy obsession with black culture. I vote the non black folks with this issue seek psychiatric help hopefully some sort of NON African American Race Member specific virtual fuckin international support group can be formed. Shit is getting out of control lol. Hope this at least made you last and more importantly you were able to completely understand where MOST true black folks are coming from etc. Hope this helps. Have a good one.
@@thehelm658 it'd be totally different if black people started calling each other spic and wetback because we don't call each other that as terms of endearment the way black people call each other n word. I'm not trying to justify using the n word I don't say and don't think anyone who isn't black shouldn't say, I'm just pointing out how youre making a false equivalence.
Straight up I stopped saying that over 15 years ago made me tighten up my flowz for sure all of my Dad's homeboyz would always school me on not using it I would rap for them they would be like yeeah until that word came out then they would be like heeey hold up naaw 😄
