Ernie Coombs (Mr. Dressup) brightened CBC's morning schedule for an incredible 32 years. Along with TV pals Casey and Finnegan, the kindly Mr. Dressup entertained generations of Canadian children with simple crafts, sing-alongs and trips to the TICKLE TRUNK for costumes. Join hosts Casey and Finnegan in this special video collection as they revisit carefree childhood memories of Mr. Dressup, and they romp again through those special days with songs, stories, and Mr. Dressup's drawings at his famous drawing board. Mr. Dressup and his pals Casey and Finnegan explore and reassure some of the fears that young children have, such as going to school and meeting new people. We soon find Mr. Dressup playing a joke on Casey, which results in a spat between Casey and Finnegan. Once Mr. Dressup rescues Casey from a locked bathroom everyone is back to high spirits. In the end we find Mr. Dressup and Casey out in the backyard putting on one of their famous puppet shows!
