"In the holiday spirit I'm pledging to donate all the money I (The Fij) make from the Beatport sales to the International Mental Health Research Organization to help fund medical research which can help find cures and a better understanding of diseases schizophrenia, bipolar disorder etc. The public has to go that extra mile and pay that extra money, just to help me chart on Beatport. Update: 02/12/2023 the international mental health research organization has rebranded/changed. Following that change I've made several contributions to brain & behavior research foundation (a highly rated charity for mental health research). Also the amount of beatport sales have significantly dwindle and have become a pain to track. For the sake of transparency, I've donated over $1500 in total to these charities and I do plan to make semi-regular donations to brain & behavior research foundation. Those these donations are now likely uncorrelated to beatport sales but it should exceed them.

I found this song years ago when I was having to make a tough, life-altering decision at a bad point in my life. I listened to this song on repeat while sitting by the road at night until I could make my decision. I'm still not sure if I made the right decision, but I don't really regret it.

It's like that feeling; You are sitting by a lake in the early morning. Then the first sun rays start to stream over the trees across the water. The breeze slides over you and in the ebb and flow the leaves spiral around as if in some kind of trance. Sweet

I don’t understand how someone could create something so great. This is unlike anything. It has the perfect balance of being fast while being slow at the same time. It is an angry sounding song while being soft enough to make you want to cry. It brings every dimension of the “feelings” spectrum into one song. I don’t know how you do it or where your vision/ inspiration comes from but I feel like it’s from another world. This is one of the greatest treasures I’ve ever stumbled across and I truly feel lucky to have found this

I listened to this songs five times today. Each time I did I couldn't stop crying for some reason...I just...really felt something today with this song. I've heard it before today, and I don't know why only today I feel such strong emotion with it. Maybe it has to do with recent events in my life, certain decisions I'll have to make soon, etc. While I was sitting down crying, each and every time I felt this indescribable swirl of emotions that I couldn't identify. There were no fine lines, just one huge blur, as if I was feeling one huge emotion opposed to many smaller ones, and it overwhelmed me rather fast. It made me really think deep and feel something. Not a lot of songs can do that. Very few can do that, and it takes insane talent to put this much emotion into a span of just four minutes. You are amazing. This is the kind of emotion I look for in the music I listen to, and even though this one overwhelmed me, I know that when it does, it's a great, well crafted, meaningful masterpiece of a song. I know that you made this a long time ago, and that you might not ever read this, but if you do, I just want to thank you for letting me experience this.
