many years ago i was at a bar where a dj was playing mostly 70s disco music. we got talking, i looked into his record case, he had Mr Flagio´s vinyl. i asked if he would play it. what happened next was unbelievable. a half empty bar with no dancefloor was suddenly filled to the brim with people, dancing between tables, on the tables... it was magic, it was like lsd
@@Ezyasnos Oh the past month I've dived headfirst into this genre and I have found all of these songs. I have a playlist on my channel called "Space Disco" documenting my journey and they're all on there. I especially love Spacer Woman by Charlie, but this song is still my favorite. It just blends the two elements of disco and Techno perfectly.
I can't believe in the 2 years since I found this track it has gone from 8,000 hits to nearly half a million... the new hip kids have found it and God bless them for still having taste.... truly an awesome piece of music. I think I might throw me another party as a mere excuse to introduce another 50 people to the joys of Italo disco.
i am 43. i am from Bracelona. and tonight after a lot to drink spanish strong bier i discovered this master song piece, greetings from BARCELONA .... Catalunya...Spain
Found this song by clicking randomly on songs on YT like 4 years ago. Coming back to it again by listening to old songs like this I remember. Always coming back to it lol
Children of the 80s is pretty good but it was released in 2019. but I have to admit, this track for the time it came out is absolutely impressive. Hey, check out spacer women - charlie, open your eyes - people at the villa, atc around the world remix dj DeeLowed /base: 2000 ps1. The last one is one of my all time favs.
this track creates insane mental imagery, its like post apocolyptc disco, inside of tron driving 100mph into a green sunset, blasting off into space, all while wearing wayfarers
This song made my day! 80's electro never stops impressing me! Its a shame that most people think of cheesy pop when they hear the mention of 80's. :/ When the underground stuff was amazing!
Oh! What you're gonna be? Oh! What you're gonna be? I feel it's coming Down to the bar Let's take a walk Or leave it alone Sooner or later Enough is enough I gotta know If we can clean it up Keep it stronger! Keep it stronger! I gotta know I gotta know Keep it stronger! Keep it stronger! I gotta know Just gotta know Oh! What you're gonna be! Let's break away Take a chance with me (4 times) Hear it calling Hear what I say It can't go on Another day Now is the time We got to decide Where do you stand? You've got to take a side Keep it stronger! Keep it stronger! I gotta know Just gotta know Keep it stronger! Keep it stronger! I gotta know I just gotta know Oh! What you're gonna be! Let's break away Take a chance with me (4 times) Keep it stronger! Keep it stronger! I gotta know Just gotta know Keep it stronger! Keep it stronger! I gotta know I just gotta know Oh! What you're gonna be! Let's break away Take a chance with me (2 times) Oh!
I can't describe the feeling I get when listening to this song, I feel a tiny bit of sadness mixed with appreciation, happiness, and wonder. I just know I'm addicted to this song. Thanks for the likes, I'm glad people feel the same. This song is just something else, truly touching.
I agree so much, every time I listen to this song I can’t help but tear up. I doubt that mr flagio knew when they produced this song that they had produced something so perfect which could stir so much emotion. The lyrics make zero sense and I adore that. Undoubtedly the best italo disco song of all time.
I keep getting in trouble for putting this on at house partys at 6 in the morning. really loud. People dont seem to realize im just attempting to give them the wonderful gift of italo......
Come fa' a non piacere un brano cosi' solare...cosi' movimentato...cosi' pieno di vita....cosi'.....ITALODISCO??? Semplicemente... f a n t a s t i c o....
@@danielracovitan9779it is... I grew up with italo disco in Poland 😂 there is no sound like it. It's usually deeper drawn out disco themes with fast paced almost fragmented beats. Crisp clean and deep funk
This has aged so well to be honest, I love the sound of this track, you could easily hear a modern track like this, especially now that disco has made a comeback recently. Fab xx
why you had to include that word it doesnt change any meaning you just add a bad word to it, you should get rid of this habit just telling, if you use bad words, then use where you should ;)
Wow. Can't believe that this song was from the 80's!! Sounds very fresh and new. it seems that this song never get old, not even a little... It's sounds great!! And for songs like these I love so much the Italo Disco!!
@@faraspam9241 it does! Nothing can replace the energy that the italo-disco and the jackie chan movies of the 80s give! They're just all interconnected in one big, beautiful ball of energy, freedom, and vitality :)
Hi, this record has been produced in Genoa, my native town in Italy by Giorgio Bacco and Flavio Vidulich, who, at that time were working in Radio Babboleo a popular radio at their time; you can read their names on the label of the singles.
I'm 50 & I am pretty sure I have never heard this before. I thought, wow this song is awesome. I had to read the comments to find out it is a classic. I blame DJs.
I had a sunrise set at a bushdoof in Melbourne, Australia a few years back, the sun was past rising, the air was crisp. I put this record on. The dancefloor of those that stuck around had nothing but smiles, people came up to ask what this record was. Timeless is an understatement.
Would have loved to attend a party like that... im born in the end of the 80’s, and the disco scene sucked when i grew up.. i despised disco culture, untill i heard this genres. If i was born back then i prob would have been a total disco head.. 🤙🤟🏻🤣
@@Tombombadillo999 And this music was so popular - this music really "united" the continent. From Portugal to Russia, from Lapland to Sicily, everybody loved it.
I loved this when I first heard it... loved it even more the second time... now its the hundreth time and I have no words.... it is simply incredible!!!!!!
I started up my 1979 rx7 put this song on with a bad boy cassette playlist and went on a 3am night drive through the canyons of the Rocky Mountains till the sun came up. I’m 28 I have no idea how epic it felt to be there when this was new but I can say I came home a happy man at 10am.
This song makes my love for ITALO Disco grow! What a track, those synths and the vocals, it's magical! Saw I-F rocking this track in one of his dj sets.LOVE LOVE LOVE!
i love this track, i agree italodisco and italodance tracks were ahead of their time, which is why they will never be out of date and always in fashion
I was looking for this song perhaps for ten or more years and finally found it! I couldn't find it because I didn't remember a single word, only the melody. Damn I'm so happy!
As I listen to this on the eve of the year 2019 it occurs to me that we are only truly constrained by ourselves and Italian disco greatly inspired Daft Punk. All love.
One of the better italo tracks. This is one of the first records that introduced me to the italo scene! Besides the quality the sound is still fresh these days. Happy to OWN this one on Squish records.
OHH!!! WHAT YOU'VE DONE TO ME!!! I fucking love this song! The beat, the bass, the dark - spacey synth tune... oh come on people you know what to do PLAY IT LOUD!
That´s true... but for me the really end was at the end of 1984. But there are also some hidden gems after this period. You know, ITALO DISCO is an endless exploration. ;)
