Throughout history we fought together for freedom and our territory, our enemy was the same, the Ottomans, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria. Only Russia was the only enemy we did not divide, because Serbia had no border with it. Romania and Serbia were on the border of the three empires and suffered the same problems together

Mr. Giant, the fact is that Romanians and Serbian share the same origin. We were the same people until the beginning of the XIX century, when Latinization of Romanian people begins.

Don't know where you got that from, but... no! As in the video mentioned, the Romanian language had up to 40% non Latin vocabulary. In this non Latin vocabulary, not all were of slavic origin, though.

Yes we Serbs know. But you are right this channel is a dark comedy. This is Serbian guy making this content. Starina Novak lived 90 years and then he was caught. My daughters went to a school named after him here in Beograd thus I know this. And besides that funny side Yugoslav soil is soaked in blood. Romania(ns) helped a lot with getting merch across the border during the 90s sanctions. That was the only way for Serbs to do any business in that time. Petrol, cigarettes...

Correct, I don't see them as sinless, though I have meet a lot of good people since I migrated here from the Caribbean. The USA invaded my country in 1983. However I have come to realize that the people here are not unlike people in the rest of the world. Wanting to live in peace and enjoy life. This we must emphasize so we may find a way not to fight each other.

Now on a fotball match with Kosovo Românian fotball fans had big banner that said : " Kosovo is Serbia " and the Kosovo team stoped the game & flee for 50 minutes from the field , our FrF was fined with a hight sume to pay us a fine 😂 and for the next game with Andorra fans where not alowed in the stands they invited children to be on the gallery 22: 000 children to be exact. But we don' t care! We still to this day side with Serbia in a peacefull way against Kosovo 😂even if it' s true a game of fotball😂❤ so you see they are more then friends to this day. We don' t forgive that they stole from Serbia & from us Basarabia❤😢 and you know for us in europe fotball is very important & fans still didn' t care they will not be allowed to be on the gallery on the next game for this :" Kosovo is Serbia" .

The fact that a lot of words from the romanian language are considered to be originally from slavic languages îs more because the russian communists and before them even the russian empire în terms of extending them birders and controlling the neighbores they were trying to change the original of romanians în a slavic one, so the russian jews historians and linguists are considering all the common words în romanian and slavic languages as "slavic words" which actually doesn't make sens because all the areas around România was habited by romanians/ thracians before the slavic and hungarian people expand. So much probably many words are having thracian or common indoeuropean origina.

Romania has a difficult history, that's why the country is broken, the Republic of Moldova, Northern Bukovina, Bessarabia, they belonged to Greater Romania 1919, look for maps and you will see how big the country was. Maybe other Serbs love Romanians and opposite but I know that I don't love them.. I'm Sebian and I got sick every time that I have to load truck in Romania. Their border is few times worse then ours and we aren't in EU and they are..got badly treated by Romanian customs, police, traffic control..there are some people from Romania that I liked but everywhere you find someone who is good..but for the matter of fact, if I would be honest, I don't like many Serbs as well..maybe you love someone by getting far away from him or her, but as you getting known someone better you discover all bad things that you miss from far away. Also Serbs are very devided society and that last for centuries..I just like that part of my country that is close to me...

There are different people everywhere, but not represent the majority. Important is that we had no conflict with the serbs in our history, which for the Balkans is a great achivement, we broke the embargo for helping Serbia, even we had politicians traitors, we support sovereignty of Serbia, Kosovo is Serbia and we are very good neighbors and friends. It's a pleasure for me to visit Serbia, because I have seebian friends for life. My father died in Serbia when he wanted to save his serbian friend. Serbia is the Second house for my family.

Balkans are mix of everything. Greeks and Albanians have no "relatives" in Europe. Turks are Turkic ppl, Hungarians and Romanians are islands in this part of the world. Serbs are also unique as payed soldiers of Bysantium and from that time used to fight in many Empires. Bulgars are Slavicized Huns so Balkans are sooo mixed its crazy.

you are wrong when you assume Romania is formed of mixed cultures and people. The population is extremely conservative, and up until like ten years ago, a marriage with any sort of foreigner would be inconceivable. To the point of where the mixed married couple would have to move to another city, abandon all family ties, or even flee to another country. Even today, mixed marriages (and by that I mean any relationship that last for a long while and might end up in kids and a true family) are quite rare and are mostly seen only in the more developed cities. The lower strata would rather disinherit their kids than see them off married to some other nationality, ethnicity, color and especially religion. That's the reason same sex marriages never got accepted here. Just look at the demographics - 3% gypsies, 5% hungarian, another like 4% other minorities, all other exclusive Romanians, all Orthodox. it's not a melting pot of nations, it's a monolith. Not united towards good things, mind you, but still, stubborn, traditional and kinda alcoholic

Comedy video but gave suprisingly at least half true information. You should just replace word Slavic origin with Serbian origin. Romanians and Serbians are brothers, actually the same people, who understood eash other very good until 19th century when Romanians changed the alphabet (from cyrilic to latin) and language (a lot of words), and modified history that they are not Slavs/Serbs. There are a lot of old Monesteries with Serbian icons and frescos with Serbian letrers. Unfortunately, some.crazy people are scrarching those cyrulic Serbian letters from icons and frescos and ruining historical heritage wich describes true history of now Romanian people. West even implanted them propaganda that they have origin from Roman soldiers, although Romans were only 250 years across left side.of Danube (now Romania) but were over 1000 years on the Danube right side (now Serbia). To cut short, Romanians are the same as Serbians and Moldovans. Moldova even managed to hold on to its old/original cyrilic alphabet.

Hey, Serb! Too much nationalism is harmful. There are no Serbian letters, there are Cyrillic letters. These letters were not invented by Serbs!!! They were only used by the Serbs and all the Orthodox churches in the area. The fact that the Romanians changed the alphabet from Cyrillic to Latin did not transform them from Slavs to Latins. They remained what they were! Just as the Turks did not turn from Arabs into Latins when they switched from the Arabic to the Latin alphabet!!!

As a Romanian I support Albania and Independent Kosovo. Even the Albania's anthem was writen by the romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu and Romania has been gifted 500 square metres of beach, a small exclave, to the Adriatics Sea, at Sarande, almost the same size as Vatican, due to Mircea Eliade's contribution to the Albania's high degree education and science. As an African, I understand that you are unaware of these facts. Also, as a romanian i have questions on the vlach population status, these are romanians who lived in the Timoc valley, today's Serbia. They've lost their romance identity, and very little of them still speak romanian, timocean dialect. And all of these, because of Serbia's politics. I have also met serbians in real life, they are similar to all balkanic peoples, similar to us, but not more than that. I hate them because they cry everywhere about the bombardment of Belgrade by americans, but never say what they did to albanians, croats, bosniacs. Imagine, why Montenegro has decided to split away? You think because of good life with Serbia?

The Yugoslav state did not come about how it's indicated in this video. Yugoslavia was a British idea, Brits did not want a strong orthodox Russia-friendly country in the Balkans so they proposed Yugoslavia, and that move prevented the unification of lands populated by Serbs in the Balkans after WW1 in so-called Greater Serbia. Which as time has shown was a devastating move for Serbs and the right one for the Brits.

We don't actually love each other. As a Romanian I support Albania and Independent Kosovo. Even the Albania's anthem was writen by the romanian composer Ciprian Porumbescu and Romania has been gifted 500 square metres of beach, a small exclave, to the Adriatics Sea, at Sarande, almost the same size as Vatican, due to Mircea Eliade's contribution to the Albania's high degree education and science. As an African, I understand that you are unaware of these facts. Also, as a romanian i have questions on the vlach population status, these are romanians who lived in the Timoc valley, today's Serbia. They've lost their romance identity, and very little of them still speak romanian, timocean dialect. And all of these, because of Serbia's politics. I have also met serbians in real life, they are similar to all balkanic peoples, similar to us, but not more than that. I hate them because they cry everywhere about the bombardment of Belgrade by americans, but never say what they did to albanians, croats, bosniacs. Imagine, why Montenegro has decided to split away? You think because of good life with Serbia?

The most of romanians love Serbia. My father died in Bosnia war because he wanted to save his serbian friend. Dragan is like my father for us, he love us( me and my sister) and we feel at home when we go to Serbia. The serbs are good people and we have so much in common.
