Mr. Hari Maharjan is a pioneer of Gypsy Jazz in Nepali music industry. He recalls himself as a fortunate person to get a chance to own a guitar at very young age. In this session, he contemplates how he knew nothing about guitar or how it is played. At first, he started playing it on his own and later learned from different people and their techniques that he met on his musical journey. He was already a proficient guitar player by the age of 25. Since then, he has been working as a composer, music arranger, guitar instructor who loves to perform in different genres especially, gypsy jazz.
Currently, he is also involved in Hari Maharjan Project (HMP), a Nepalese band formed in 2008
