I'm a teacher too, and I teared up at the end of the show when "El Flaco" (aka Fluffy) dedicated this show to his speech teacher, Ms. Gardner.. She believed in him, when he didn't believe in himself..💜😭
If you are a teacher you should really work on your grammar, an work on your language arts skills coming from someone with a 5th grade education. positive criticism !
@@suzieurias3108 For me it's a distraction. I have ears AND eyes, and I have this bad habit of using both. The captions ruin the comedy. When you read it before you hear it it's not so funny.
He'd be my favorite teacher with no one else that can compare😂😂 If I had someone like him that cared so much about his students, helping them properly and never putting them down, I'd actually get A+'s in my class...

Only Fluffy is cool enough to upload an entire episode to sell his show to people who haven't seen it. So much better than only showing a 30 second trailer and trying to get people hooked on it that way.
i agree it's cool, but it's becoming more common place... i saw los espookys and alternatino both in leaks or previews. try before you buy kinda ethos ;)
I actually started watching the vid thinking it was a sneak peek or something, was only after saw the intro that I realized it was nearly a half-hour-long video and was surprised.
This was literally my HS history teacher. One of the only teachers people actually enjoyed hanging out with and students getting excited to go to his class.
I "missed" the first half of my latin class in 10. grade, but then my dad went to the teacher/home meeting - thank god for "Potte-Hansen", that knew, that he would kill me, so he told him, when he asked, how the latin was going, that he wasen't my teacher in that class, but would get back to him. He never did, but advized me to come the rest of the year.. Loved him - just like the rest of the class did. Good man
Best teacher I had in high school was Mr. Picciotto...Automotive Mechanics. He was an awesome teacher...never treated me any different from any of the guys in the class. Did my work and learned a lot from Mr. P. and my father. Built my first car w/ my father at 23yrs old. Ive always went back to Mr. P. whenever I needed help w/ something...for YRS after I graduated. Fyi...Ima 48yr old woman that lives in Miami, FL.
Bro, I really hope Netflix picks this series back up. I understand they cancelled it because Gabe caught Covid, but I know there has to be a ton of other people who want to see this show continue.

I binged the entire show on Netflix and it ended on SUCH A BIG CLIFFHANGER. We need a season 2. Also, I can't get enough of that joke about Trump. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
As I keep watching, more memories resurface. My teacher used to have few people in his life besides his friends, his colleagues and his students and many thought this kind and cheerful man deserved to have someone to love and to be loved, to be happy. Also, the man often went on road trips (those may have gone rarer when he started a family) for fun or discovery.
I just now noticed that. He even posted it on RU-vid. (My high School reunion was lit!) Amazing Catch! I did notice it though, but didn't know what it said.

Gabe, I watched it all and I loved you. Great work. You remind us how far teachers do and can go for their students and how critical it is. Writing's a bit cheesy and sometimes the teens' PC attitudes get on your nerves, but it's necessary to bring us to the 21st century, think about our future, and it all leads to character development and lessons learned. Plus, there's no denying the feel-good, enjoyable experience. Good to see Cree Cichino escaped Nickelodeon, too. Thank you.
Anyone else who's been in the "special class" in school have this first episode really hit home. Feeling like the system gave up on you and just your teacher cares. Thank you Mr. Iglesias for this amazing series
For a comedian whose name doesn't have Raymond or Seinfeld in it, this was a surprisingly decent show. Reminds me of all the early to mid 90's Nickelodeon sitcoms. I honestly wouldn't have seen this if it weren't for this on RU-vid. (Even with a Netflix subscription) Pretty smart move on Fluffy's part.

@@davidchavez1330 well it is his first acting show, doesn't have much acting experience, and its only starting off, most good shows start off like that whether you believe it or not, all you can do is giving it a chance for now

Wow. What an amazeing Talent Gabriel Iglacious is. You know it was just yesterday that we were in HS enjoying all those years together as kids. It was hard for me guys bc I survived a traumatic night from my stepfather murdering my mother and 2 sisters on Halloween in 1984. You don't know what you have until it's gone.
