Mr Inbetween | The Chain 

watched the entire series with my wife. we're both writers and tend to like very different types of content but neither of us could find a flaw with this show and binged the entire series. For US audiences who liked The Wire, Breaking Bad and BCS I swear you will like this show even more. Just beautifully written, shot, and acted.

Mr. InBetween is one of the greatest shows ever produced, not just from Australia, but the entire history of television. A 1000 out of 10.

I was going to comment on how great that series was, but then I realised how outstanding this video must be to make me want to watch it all over again.

Having been around a few very violent and unpredictable, uncontrollable even, people, I can honestly say that a bloke like Ray would be alright to have around. I like Ray, nice bloke, you know?

Saw it when it first dropped, and just rewatched the entire series again. Simply brilliant. Excellent writing, sublime acting. Best Aussie series I’ve seen for years.

This is the kind of sick garbage that shows how far down we have come. People writing here about how great this show is obviously want to live in a world like the one depicted, but in reality wouldn't last a second there.

Damn fine drama and storytelling. Superb character development extremely relatable personalities. From the first minute to the last minute, not one wasted second. Adhering to the maxim of stellar showmanship: always leave them wanting more. Indeed🧐

There's a film before the series, not seen it myself as it's impossible to find. Called the magician. Brilliant series, shame it finished.

Every one of his 'victims' had gotten themselves into bad places long before our boy showed up. People don't spend money on hit-men out of nothing...you had to be a problem for someone. It's always sad when the victim has no idea why their days have ended.

Mr Inbetween is the best Australian series ever to be written. No series even comes close. Excellently written and directed by two great Australians. I’ve binged watched the show and truly cannot get enough. My hope is that one day Nash Edgerton and writer Scott Ryan get back together and do more work. Mr Inbetween truly has a cult following.

Geez there's a lot I don't remember from this series. Definitely gonna have to watch it again. An EPIC show. I'm not a violent person and couldn't do what Ray does but he is an easy character to identify with.........in theory.

I tried to put how I feel about this series into writing, and found it very hard to do. I guess I'll just have to watch it again. There are lots of great things to say about it, the writing and acting is superb, Ray is totally believeable, and I buy his journey, as well. Credible character development.

You don't want Ray to turn up at your house. I never ends well.

I still say that Ray will make a great Spin off, like the expendables where he worked for the wrong people, and they think they got him cornered, but he comes back with a vengeance😎💯

Great, now i have to rewatch this show😅...probably up there with Soprano's and the Wire in my opinion...

My girlfriend and I just finished watching all 3 seasons: absolutely fantastic - great characters...The spider scene and Ray telling the newbie in prison that he was in for raping men had me crying with laughter.....

And the wild thing is, this only covers his "dark side" which is what makes he TV series so layered and fascinating. There's Ray the father, Ray the bestfriend, Ray the brother/son, Ray the boyfriend.

Some good old fashion Australian entertainment, scarey thing is this shit happens

It has a similar slow burn and deeply unsettling quiet talk vibe as Romper Stomper (the movie, not the crap series). Just wait till the US discovers that Australian gem.

He somewhat regretted killing the innocent guy (that he made dig his own grave), and he couldn't really refuse to kill his bikie boss mate because they would have then killed him (and subsequently tried to kill him anyway).

Up there with The Sopranos for me.

Told his daughter "no santa, no easter bunny, no tooth fairy and no Jesus but there are unicorns" and he proves it. Cares for his brother with MND and helps him make a final choice. Leaves work post haste and takes blame for a questionable DVD his best mates wife found to save the marriage. Terminates a career pedos employment. If everyone in the world had a father, a brother, ex hubby, boyfriend or a best mate like Ray, we wouldn't need hitmen. Ray is a fu#king hero an aussie legend. (up there with Ned, Julian. Shane. Cathy the wiggles and the winged keel). Like Australia's own Joe Pesci.

Goes to prove Sydney has some dark corners in it.

He is wrong, he would feel sorry for one of his victims. The guy he shot and buried in the bush when given the wrong target.

After watching a few of these excerpts from the series I hear that this is a popular show. I used to like this kind of stuff, but the line is always blurred when you have this seemingly decent guy who is also an hitman. It was the same kind of aura that Breaking Bad had. I saw that series once and I'll never watch it again because of the violence and the way the characters ended up like heros. The marketing off that movie I find disgusting. I'll never go out of my way to watch this show either partly cuz I'm older and I don't need nor want these violent images in my head especially combined with this likeable main character. This kind of programming is seductive and since I want to part of a world that moves away from violence so I will make an effort to avoid stuff like this. This kind of video shows mostly violence making it easy for to say no to this show.

I can see how the norms would love this show it's pretty down to earth... but in reality, there ain't so much dialogue with some of these characters you come across come to think about it there ain't no words when you do this kind of shit.
