I don't know what kind of an unrecognized masterpiece is when they are actually one of the most famous Transformers games and basically a standard so direct that if a new Transformers game releases and it's not one of these two games' sequel it gets forgotten or underrated.
At least Prime got a movie to finish it all off, and I think everyone can agree Rotorstorm’s death sucked, then again so did most of the deaths in the wreckers saga. You could also say TF fans got really mad whenever Prowl showed up to mess up shit in IDW.
It promoted my disdain of Sentinel Prime to hatred. If and when I figure out stop motion, I intend to kill him. Ironhide, regardless of continuity, deserved better.
Honestly about the 4th season thing, it does kind of make sense why. The show (if memory serves me right-) was losing money, keep in mind each episode was around 1 million in costs, so as much as it does suck the series didn’t get a 4th season. Hey…Atleast we got Predacons rising.
Personally I have a bias towards energon because that was the show I grew up with (I was too young for Armada and became obsessed with the ‘07 movie, skipping out on cybertron, but not animated) but everything else is pretty much correct

Yeah, I can say 6/10 It wasn’t bad but not good. It was okay at least they showed a few characters from tfp and other transformers shows, but I can get why people don’t like rid I don’t really blame them. I don’t really give opinions but I just had to say this 😅
As someone who loves both G1 and the movies (at least 1-3) yeah fandom wars are a pain in the ass, especially since G1 and the movies fandoms clash all the time (well more like everyone and G1 fans hating on the movies). Still tho I just love both of them. Then again I grew up with both of them too. I can understand the criticism to the movies such as the awful comedy, but by lord the war between the two fandoms never end man, especially in the comments when watching G1/Movie clips. Also I really need to find a site or free service to watch animated. I’ve only seen clips and few eps from childhood, and it seems like a really good and goofy show. I like the younger take on Optimus Prime too.
The war with G1 and Bayverse started when GeeWunners kept complaining for years, but when bayverse fans start to defend the movies, GeeWunners called us soft, then they get mad anytime we say anything bad about there blocks. The GeeWunners are ruining the fandom

I still cannot believe Rotorstorm had to die in the comic... ;( Also, here's another thing that makes Transformers fans mad: Gold Plastic Syndrome. Just imagine having your favourite toy from your childhood like Skyquake or G2 Slingshot for example suddenly crumble to bits like it was nothing. And, there's no way to prevent it either. The only way you preserve your gold plastic transformers toys is to not touch them at all. I'm still sad over having my Euro G1 Thunderclash broken to bits...
0:15 Technically, the WFC trilogy on Netflix didn’t get a 4th season, even though we could have gotten six more episodes to celebrate the Legacy toyline. However, the pitch wasn’t accepted by Netflix for God knows what reason. It would have been so interesting to see what Legacy would have been about since it would finally feature some original Transformers ideas, but we cant have nice things I guess.

Repaints are a concession you have to make with Transformers. As Toys it can get repetitive at times but in fiction two characters of the same mold tend to act nothing alike. The Seekers in most continuity’s are the biggest examples of this effect. So it’s at least partially justified Unless the repaints in Fiction are used as generic goons. Over half of the G1 Seekers. The random Reflector clones in Siege/EarthRise/Kingdom. TerrorCons in TF Energon. And the Vehicons in TF Prime

It sucks that Transformers: Animated will never get a season 4 it rightfully deserves & that Derrick J. Wyatt has sadly passed away but at least it has a good ending

In defense of Kiss Players (I understand how bad that sounds), the creator admitted that he made it like it is to creep out normal people and get mixed reactions. I think he went too far though...
The problem with Kiss Players is it reduces decades of deep plot and character development about Japanese robot toys fighting other Japanese robot toys in space, traditionally written in a thoughtful high brow style BEFORE KP came along, by shoehorning some gimmick that the brainstorm at HasTakTo insisted on inserting into a prestigous franchise that prospered fruitfully for 20 years before some chromedome in the marketing department decided to ruin a mint in box hard science masterpiece by introducing completely ridiculous and unrealistic SHOJI, so get that through your hard head.
