You get an itch, and somebody scratches it, then you remember you live alone

fun fact, astronauts have little pieces of velcro in their helmets that they can use to scratch their nose or cheek

Funfact: Astronauts actually have a little thingy built into their helmets to help them scratch their Noses while on a space walk

One day the dentist will sneeze and drop that tool down my mouth

Imagine you find out you have a tick inside your astronaut suit, biting you and making you itch throughout the whole space walk

theres a case even worse, it is LITERALLY possible to get an itch at a part which doesnt even exist, for example if you have a hand missing, your brain might still make it feel like you have your hand and its itching BADLY

I really feel bad for the last 3, this sounds like literal Hell

Apparently there are people who lost a leg in an accident for example that can still get an itch for a body that they literally do not have anymore

Everyone seems to forget about eczema-related itch. When you scratch enough for it to stop itching, you realize it's because you have no skin anymore

I've had it worse than everyone on the list. When I had an MRI scan, I had to lie perfectly still for 40 minutes straight, and if I moved they'd have to start it again. So I was lying down, and my body started itching. I couldn't itch it, and it was horrible knowing that you can itch, but if you do, you'd be forced to stay in the metal tube for another 40 minutes. I remember having around 6 itches, each would last for 5 minutes before dying down. I was in a perpetual state of itchiness for 40 minutes straght

The worst kind of itch is the itch for good memes that won't be scratched as long as people keep making "Mr. Incredible Becoming Uncanny" videos.

If you are an amputee you can get an itch where your limb used to be and its impossible to scratch (for obvious reasons), I think they call it "phantom itch".

I have a paralyzed arm and when my other arm is itchy, I can't do anything about it. I either ask my mom or if im alone , I usey teeth or wall corners. It's really embarrassing in public lol.

Imma be honest, most of those can be dealt with. Under your skin, just rub the affected area until the itch dissippates. (Not like, a surface rub, but one of those skin-moving rubs) Inner nose? Pinch the outsides of your nostrils together until it dissipates. No nails from biting? Get an object with a hard, flattened surface and scratch. Hard to/can't reach spot? Same thing as no nails, but just grab a longer item. No hands? Find a sharp/flat point/ledge to scratch the afflicted part with. (Unless it's on a sensitive or easy to harm area. Then you might be sol.) I think the dentist, paralysis, and spacewalk ones are the only ones that don't really have easy solutions.
