There is actually a lot of poverty both in China and India, so it’s hard just to have one standard rating for both countries over 1 billion people. Living in big cities like Shanghai(not considering covid) is actually very canny, while living in the underdeveloped rural areas could be far more uncanny than you thought

Depends on the point of view in all of this. While some suffered from wars, others suffered from dirty soil, tainted water, and polluted air, so index of hapiness is nothing, if the people can't even alive well, because of war and pollution.
i visited your country, and i liked it because of the cheapness, the only problem to me as a tourist is trash everywhere, even in cairo near pyramids, but the red sea is crystal clear filled with fish, and the hotels are really cheap too. You have a pretty good country honestly.
