As befitting what Kuna_Mapping, another “Mr. Incredible” mapper, described as the “worst place in history.” Phase 50 already communicated a feeling of utter hopelessness; pairing it with Phase 5.5’s music box only further highlights the severity of the Khmer Rouge’s crimes, all while the animated darting eyes push the image into an “uncanny” territory not seen in any of the previous stills. It emphasizes a level of savagery which just can’t be communicated through conventional disgust or horror - only the beholder’s profound, visceral numbness over what human beings can *_really_* do to each other.

Maybe you can put Trieste🇮🇹 in Canny and Ramallah🇵🇸 in uncanny, maybe phase 9.5. And you could add Nanjing in uncanny (phase 150) I mean the past Nanjing not the current one. And you could also put Pyongyang in phase 49 uncanny, since ryanggang was in the video. And also Ulanbataar in phase 2.5. I have other few suggestions : Nunavut🇨🇦 (canny), San Pedro Sula🇭🇳(uncanny) Jeju Island🇰🇷(canny), Kantō🇯🇵(canny) and Tamil Nadu / Chennai 🇮🇳 (canny phase 2 or neutral maybe)
If there are even uncannier phases than the ones presented in the video, Harbin or Manchukuo during Japanese occupation in the Sino-Japanese War (look up Unit 731 to know more) would certainly be amongst them
