Also from a roleplay perspective PD calling a judge to get an opinion for a charge is -1. In real life that doesn't happen. It's 2 separate branches of the judicial system. When I was watching Ruby get stuck in her cycle of stupid I was thinking how do you tell someone in RP that they suck at RP. It's like most other things...discretion is a large part of good roleplay. They can cut some charges here and there when something clearly doesn't make sense. Especially in RP.

The cops only enforce the law, the judges interpret it. So the PD was in the right this instance, if a Judge interprets it as them being per item, then it's up to the accused to appeal the case to a higher court to get a different interpretation or have that court reinforce it. If the PD just determined everything as they feel it, there would be a horrendous amount of differentiation in charges from officer to officer.
