The United States constitution foresaw this exact scenario because it used to happen all of the time, where every political opponent would accuse the other of committing treason. So the constitution says "Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court." So the question I have is: Is the No Pixel constitution only a replacement for the California state constitution, or is it also a replacement for the US constitution? If judges can make rulings based off the US constitution, then what soze says is treason, isn't actually punishable as treason. However the council members would still be screwed and impeached/tried as an accessory to Aziz's murder.

That's where you don't get it. Los Santos is it's own entity, not "based of..." They tried to make it a thing when the Russians were in Los Santos in 3.0 but it didn't work and they demolished all of that. Los Santos (NoPixel) its it's own island with it's own rules/laws, most of the laws are written in the forum as "Guidelines" for the elected Mayor/DOJ and then they add more laws taking these rules/laws as something that can't be changed. These new guys that are in DOJ/Council wanted to create their own laws from scratch ignoring everything that was written before because they found the "loopholes" that were put there intentionally so the DOJ/Mayor can play "freely" with the laws as they want but without interfeering with the original script of the city/server. The whole point is... they added laws that nitpicked said loopholes and abused it screwing over not just criminals but the civilians in the process. P.D.: I need to touch some grass after this.
