This is exactly what I've been thinking about. Seeing this video made me cry because I know that he's only 10, but he's getting older. When my first dog turned 13, that's when he started slowing down. He lived to be 16, but I was so depressed after he passed. He had a great life.

My heart goes out to you! I’m currently going through that with my chihuahua mix! He’s 14, turning 15 in July! He also has cataracts and he’s still kickin’. I moved away from home for work and left him with my parents and our other dog, just because I know I wouldn’t be able to care for him. I was also worried he was going to get depressed moving across the country. Turns out, he got depressed when I left, stopped eating and was slowly dying. I ended up flying home for a surprise visit 2 months from my move and it changed his entire attitude. He started eating again and he’s been since. 😭😭😭 it’s been hard living so far from my fur-baby!

My cat is still pretty young, altough I have lost cats in the past. Every time I go to sleep, he jumps straight onto the bed to sleep with me. He was sick about a week ago and I was terrified. Could not stop crying. He is fine now, luckily. That cat is my baby. I love him like crazy. I feel you all. Our pets are not just pets, they are family.

My Chihuahua would have been 12 in July, but she was attacked by something outside one night. I miss her very much. :(

i don't think she needs to worry that much! Smaller dogs tend to live longer and Jenna takes care of him really really well so he probably has a couple more years in him! My family dog was born in 2002 and he's still alive and kicking, at 16 years old haha.
