This left me a sobbing mess… my parents had a loving relationship but they also bickered like Mr&Mrs Abdullah. He called her « meri haseena » even after 42 years of marriage and she feigned being annoyed by his jolly nature. We lost our father, Feb 2022, suddenly after a brief stint of Covid19. One day he was marching like a soldier and ten days later he was no longer with us. Now we are left with immeasurable sorrow, regrets and guilt. Guilt that we didn’t spend more time with him, talked to him more, hugged and kissed him more. May Allah grant paradise to all parents who have left us and unite us all in the afterlife.

Excellent movie. Old age may be a curse but as long as you have someone you have loved throughout your life, it can be a golden age as seen in this movie of superb acting and direction. My wife and I in our 70s have enjoyed Pakistani series sitting in our living room in South India..

Marina Khan is a highly underrated talent in Pakistan. In the long journey from Tanhayan to this excellent short film, she has always given much much more than what's expected from her.

I am from India...big fan of See prime. Seen most of your short films and have admired them for the superb content and great acting. Never commented till now, but this film is just awesome Wonderful script and acting...actually the actors were not acting at all..they were just living their roles. That last Hasrat of Mr.Abdulla and its fulfillment brought tears to my eyes. Keep up the good work

I am from the generation jis k liye Marina Khan hamesha Saniya (Tanhaiyan) hi rhen gi. On ki awaz me abhi bhi Saniya ki shokhi hai age nahi sunae dete blkl bhi. Ankhen band karo to lagta hai Tanhaiyan ki koi extention sun rhe hian.

Marina Khan is my all time favourite.. very beautiful short film depicting subtle emotions of an old couple! Everyone did great job, writer, director, actors and behind the camera crew👏👏👏

Such a heartwarming and soul stirring story. I began watching this movie because of my two most favorite actors, Ahmed Sir and Marina ma'am. Thank you for emphasizing the love and time that parents deserve from their kid. Parents are precious. Once the movie ended, I wasn't surprised to see Mohammed Ahmed Sir as the writer. Once a fan of his writing skills, always a fan. Thank you so much for presenting us with this movie. Will definitely watch it again with my ma and baba. 💖

Just like many of the folks who left comments here, I just lost my dad who had an interesting relationship with my mom for 40 years... My dad could not empower my mom but his death he told my mom that she is no longer just a wife for him but more like a mother, We consume a lot of fried items in Kolkata, India and these fried items damage Kidney and Heart as in India, quality of oil is so poor, alike to Bangladesh or Pakistan... Dad died 3 months back at the age of 70, being the only child I went to perform his last rites and still cannot sleep well, but being a shaqt launda I am holding up far away from my mom, as I live in Canada and my ma is in back home, I am blessed to have a joint family who takes care of my ma... No, I never had a guilt being Harish of this movie as my dad never struggled for money, or I never left any opportunity to provide him the right treatment... but, now it sucks to she my rock solid mom struggle alone... we are so alike in India, Pakistan and India, our emotions, our traditions, our grooming - yet we are distant for other issues... Syed Mohammed, Sinf-e-Ahan is a remarkable series to know about you and now, this one.... Marina Khan, you portrayed a common motherhood so naturally yet with perfection... I lived each frame of this short film... I am touched deep inside and as usual, beyond Coke Studio, PSL and Street foods, my admiration for Pakistan is growing stronger with all these creative marvels... Kudos to the team!!

Very nice heart touching story...unfortunately we now live in a society where kids have forgotten right of parents and are too busy in building high towers and latest cars but the precious gift we are given which will take us to Jannah is left neglected and alone.

Very very touching short film….beautiful acting …..and so very true! When children are engulfed in their own life, seniors face loneliness and emptiness….due to globalization, this has become an universal phenomenon. If the parents accept this fact , and stand by each other , they can lead their life with more dignity…and above all , with the passing of partner, if the other person knows how to deal with the situation, probably, the life becomes endurable, thou’ actually very difficult…..

Beautifully done. Funny, poignant and touching the cords of the heart....... are sometimes forgotten unless reminded by such simple films. Actors have rendered their parts without overacting in a fluid manner.

I Cried in my heart allot ... very touchy ... Marina khan is excellent ... Why these types of Dramaz are not on Humtv or other entertainment channels where norms are watching ... where our most of the awaam is watching ... I remember PTV used to onair Sabakamoz dramaz so our society can learn some sympathy towards the elders and our society

I cried for a long time after watching this short film. What happens to parents whose children are away from them? And how do couples feel when they are living alone? There is a hidden love even in the fights of husband and wife. We don't understand when a partner is alive but when someone leaves the world then we understand that everything is over. I wish partners understand each other's feelings in each other's lives.

Beautiful and so real..usne to Allah se sawal bhi nahi kya…😔 I have lost my husband to cancer. I could feel each and every moment in it. So pampered by my husband din’t even knew how to take public transport but soon after his demise stood strong and started working. I had no reason to look back as I had my kids to look after. Brilliant work 👌👌👌
