This is something that people seem to get confused about. Ms is pronounced with a hard "z" sound like Miz. A lot of people mistakenly say "Miss". That is an older dated word for an unmarried woman. Ms was invented specifically to remove the issue of whether a woman was married or not. Men don't have that issue of is he married or not. There is not a separate word for a married man vs. a bachelor man. So when the women's lib became popular the term Ms was invented. Why they didn't spell it Mz instead is beyond me cause it would have eliminated a lot of the confusion.
So the usual way of addressing (formally) goes with only first name (Пане Володимире), surname (Пане Зеленский) or first name + surname (Ране Володимире Зеленский); is first name + patronymic (Пане Володимире Олександрович) also usual? I often hear people being addressed with this form (for example Василе Петрович) in Слуга Народу, although that series is in Russian; is this a cultural/linguistic difference perhaps?
