@@frazerabbasi2043 Well I saw someone speculat that it meant she was on the defence. If someone had nothing to hide why would they be on the defensive? To me, it also shows how abnormally fast her reflexes are. How could someone’s reflexes be so quick unless trained to be so. She basically she blew her cover. Does that make sense? I just realized that when it comes to how they handle targets and at this dinner scene, John is more of a perceptive assassin paying attention to his surrounding and the littlest of details in the situation whereas Jane is more a cognitive assassin, knowing how to manipulate and figure out what makes a person tick.

Their wedding life seems so good though. They both work in high-paying jobs, they only meet in the evening and are respectful towards each other and tell each other how their days went, they have sex and go to sleep. No kids, little to no drama, and obviously a shitload of money to travel the world with and do things they both like. Seems like a nice life imo

Something I was too young to understand when I original watched this. "How could I have been so stupid?" Had multiple meanings. Why did she never noticed the man she loved was a trained killer? Why did she fall for a trained killer? And why did it hurt her so much to find out he was a trained killer? She was clearly in love, even after knowing. Which is why she ran instead of going to get a gun.

Fun fact. Brad Pitt falling into the fence was an actual accident when filming and he even repeated "oh dear god". The director loved it and decided to keep it.
