I really loved your videos.... I am Turkish and Baklava is Turkish but I still support you and love the greek people and your culture....
This is absolutely hilarious. I watch this at least once a day. I like the Easter one as well, most friends of us Greeks don't believe that we roast the "whole" goat in the rotisserie.
its greek coffee for sure! cos the real turkish coffee is drunk in smaller cups haha. and baklava is not even aegean, its south eastern turkey for gods sakes lol but we still love you
Baklava is not a Turkish or a Greek word. It existed before the coming of the original Turks that came on horseback. The products used for baklava do not exist in the steps. The baklava was made before the Islam by near and middle eastern Christians. They will use forty layers of phyllo for the forty days of fasting during Lent and eat it on Easter Sunday. Don't forget that the inhabitants of Asia Minor, Lebanon, and Palestine were all Christian before the 7th century.
den nomizw na to dei kapoios kai na pistepsei pws ta leei sovara.. Gia plaka ta leei:P An kapoios parei sta sovara ton (theo) Mr Panos pou leei "greek cigaros do not have cancer and they grow on trees" tha exei allo provlhma lol lol
I also hate it when greek ppl say stuff like ''fuck Turks'' or they are too fuckin proud 'bout their 'unique heritage' but srsly lads, he's just being sarcastic, nothin more. Love ur videos mr.Panos+crew Χαιρετισμούς από Αθήνα
hmm you know what? there are people in greece more "vlahos" than panos, and thats true wether you like it or not. this is greece, that is how greek people are, funny and sad at the same time, passionate, overreacting, angry for no reason or for all reasons, rebellions and slaves at the same time for the things they love or things they hate. i prefer original things than fake, meaning greek people who try to look like american celebrities..and there are many of them in greece..
i dont know any old man or woman that used deodorant in any country. (as for greece, grandmothers use cologne myrto heheh..) doesnt mean that they dont care about their hygiene is that they are not used to that cause it didnt existed when they were young. as for aketwenty1, its not that when he is from people dont have freedom of speech, is only that he lacks completely sense of humor..!
@EsKon Obviously! Mr, Panos is a fictional character played by a comedian. This blog is a parody! I get so irritated when you people (not just Eskon) take such things so seriously!
Well! He dies not Represent the Hellenes that I know. Definitely, not the middle person I'm Greece. Pan oz is trying to take off on the success of Fat Greek Wedding. He is much more absurd, however. The one man act Goes nowhere near the native comedians in both Greek & English, found in Greece and many global cities. The take on the Turks is a little too much; as is, the picture he verbally draws of the 3 yo spinster tied to the Family Diner and the home property. His macho attitude is old, yet not exclusive to Greece, USA, Canada, Germany, Australia, or France. Lately they have a substantial number in Scandanavia due to the marine/shipping industry, research and advanced healthcare. There has been a longstanding relationship with the Danes and. Scots. What is absent from his monolog up is the love Greeks and Hellenes have for their children and everyone who has a growing family.of all ages. Soccer and basketball are major pass times; and of course the evening stroll followed by a Taverna Dinner. The Hellenes and Greeks of the diaspora are heavy into the global political scene and will get involved with every subject under the Sun. They love to bash countries who unleashed a destructive presence thru war, the attempt of the Roman Catholics to absorb the Eastern Orthodox Church and it's riches in Monasteries starting with Mt. Athos and extending to the major hold of the Eastern Orthodox & Armenian Orthodox properties in Jerusalem, Constantinople/Istanbul, the Balkan and Russia. They know global history better than many of our reps in DC. The Hellenes in Greece are very proud of those in the Diaspora. For a country of 9+million Greeks and 1 million everybody else, they show their Democratic nature by having elected an African - American Woman to the prestigious City of Athens Board/ Council. Then there is the natural food, attractive and hospitable people, fabulous weather, beaches, ago and beautiful nature. There is no boring place I have found in Greece. Visit Zakynthos where Odyssey palace has been found ( across from Sicily on West Coast of Pelopponese) then to Olympic for a study of where true and serious athletics emerged. Then you can do the rest without a worry. English, French, German and traveler's Greek will get you to wherever you wish to go. Every town has a history and smiling people anxious to feed you.
