Hi Jason, Thank you so much for reviewing our gel highlighters. We loved it. You are awesome! We will take all you mentioned and try to make them better. Also, we have Mr. Pen Bible pens. You can write on top of the highlighters using Mr. Pen Bible Pens. Pigment ink pens and gel pens will not work on our highlighters though. Sorry about that :) I still don't know why you sharpened your highlighters on the Bible lol.

+Beau Tate -- Cosby's birthday: "July 12th, my birthday. Not a snowball in sight..." That's how I remember his birthday - that OLD routine on a 1970s record album! I had them ALL, a friend gave 'em to me. Great stuff. Sad he did what he did. Agreed, Jason does lots of great stuff for us! God bless!

I love these in my bible. No bleed through. I don't sharpen mine. I rotate the highlighter a little to keep it with a good edge to use to highlight.

I like these. I typically rub over the highlighter which seems to set the highlighter so it does not get on the other page when I close my bible.

I have these highlighters and I have no issue writing over them with a ball point pen.

These were the first highlighters I got for highlighting in my Bible. When I read the description of them on amazon, it said “gel highlighter.” I thought it was more like my Pilot G2 gel ink pens. I was wrong lol. They leave a kinda waxy feeling where you use them. I’m honestly not a huge fan of them either. I also bought some Sharpie chisel tip highlighters and the only problem I have with them is that the purple seems to get lighter everyday. Then I bought the Sharpie Retractable highlighters but the only drawback for them is they don’t have a purple one. If they put a purple one in that set I would be good to go

I do not recommend the Pen + Gear Gel Highlighters! I literally just use them for the first time in my Bible. It took a lot of blending out with my finger and blotting with a tissue to get the pages not to stick. They flake everywhere like a cheap crayon! I bought them at Walmart. I just got into gel highlighters. The other gel highlighters I use are the Sharpie Gel Highlighters. I like them, they do a good job, but the Sharpie Gel Highlighters are thick highlighters and it's hard to be precise with them.

I know I just commented on the fact that I like the Sharpie gel highlighters. Maybe you could try them out on camera. (If you haven't already. Sorry I'm kind of new to your Channel.) They have a 5 pack that comes with yellow, blue, orange, pink and green. Target where I live has Sharpie gel highlighters in the 5 pack, but I bought mine on eBay.

If you want a pen that will write flawlessly over ANYTHING, get a “Space Pen”. Trust me!!

I disagree. I love them. I write before then highlight. I find that highlighting and writing notes are two different things. But thanks for the review.

What are your favorite highlighters for thin bible pages? I have the Zebra mild liners but they bleed through in my compact bible. Kind of frustrating but they are great on thicker paper. I’ve been using the crayola twistable coloring pencils but would like to use an actual highlighter.

I really wanted the Pen's to start talking and say "Please, call me Bob. Mr Pen is my father." Funnily enough, I just picked up and reviewed some dry highlighters last week. I had never heard of DRY highlighters before. I didn't know about issues of writing over them! Then again, I tend to highlight on top of what is on the page already but I can certainly see how you might want to add something later (on a second/third/500th read)

+Chris Wilson --Mine are Dry Highlighters - and the reason why is: they're a little waxy when you first highlight a verse, but once it dries, you cannot even feel it. Once dry, you can also write on it. You may have to wait 30 minutes or so to be fully dried into the page, but then run your finger over it and you cannot even feel it and again, you can write on it. My favorite highlighters. I have one here but I use it so much I wore the brand name off (haha) so I'll find the pack in my 2 boxes of "Bible pens" (2 empty tissue boxes full!) and get back to you. They're great other than a couple colors being too dark for me to see through..I shall find the name brand for you! I use them every day - OH and NO bleed through! EDIT --Mine are Bible Hi-Glider brand.. excellent!

I enjoy your videos but for Bible Marking, I would suggest you look at the Pentel Multi8 PH802 or the older model. I've been using them for over 30 years and love them. NO BLEAD THROUGH at all... even after all this time. Pens have been another story until I discovered the Micron Pigma by Sukura. These will not blead through and I use the 005 which is very fine point so I can get a lot of writing in a small space. I use the Multi8 in conjunction with the various colors of the Micron pens. Would love to see a video on them.

If ya let it dry completely - which does take some time, you can write over it. At least the brand I have. I have to go find the pack as the one on my desk is used so much, I wore the name off with my hand..ha.They're excellent and all I will buy now - until Jason talks me into trying something else like the did last week looking at older pen videos haha...God bless! I'll get back to you with the brand. EDIT -- EDIT --Mine are Bible Hi-Glider brand.. excellent!

Hi Amanda, You can write on these highlighters using Mr. Pen Bible Pens, or any other ball point pens, however gel pens, and pigment ink pens will not write on top of gel highlighters.
