I really missed them so much. I hope, I can watch them again in another drama. Sadly, the king felt a little missed Jang soyong (sobong). The queen look like more politely now.
What he missed was the unique personality that the boy had while he was inside the girl's body ... On the outside he was So Yong, but on the inside he was Jang Bong hwan ... So according to my interpretation, it is for that reason which was named as So Bong. I doubt the drama would have been chaotic and really nice to see if they included So Yong's personality traits (shown in the last episode)
Miss the king 🤴& queen 👸 badly...pls reunite again in mr queen season 2! NO TOUCH couple, the best historical couple 🥰🥰🥰 mr queen really make my day 🥰🥰🥰
TBH, I want sobong with cheoljong! I mean if love occurs, soyong dominates the body n sobong can't control it until he found out, he will push the king! 🤣 I want season 2!!! One of my fav dramas n fav couple! Gonna miss no touch couple's bickerings n chemistry! 😭😍 BTW, really love ur account, pls post many king n queen moments mv with famous songs or any Mr queen moments as many fans will miss n love it!!
this is the ending i was expecting! the other ending added more things to it that left us with no clarity but this one makes more sense.. this ending seems like the king forgot about him (the essence of bh in sy's body) and bh is left with no options but to move on and happy that he helped the king
Loved that drama too - though it also had a kinda sad ending...though not as sad as this one. Because I can accept death separating lovers but not a complete erasure with everyone just ignoring the fact that a vibrant part of their lives just disappeared and never address it. Too cruel. Even Scarlet Heart Ryeo didn't stab me in the heart like this.
Nah, I cant agree with you at this matter, I really liked the ending, of course there are some things that I would change or I am unpleased with, but in my opinion they just couldnt end it in any other way, it was the best ending possible. If BongHwan had stayed in SoYong's body it woulld have npbeen unfair for both of them
Thank you for this. This video sums up my feelings for the ending of this show. I loved the show so much that I'm happy that it ended well but my heart breaks because So Bong has to leave the king. I'm kind of glad that the King did somehow knew that he lost So Bong because for me that is the soul that he fell in love with - not the soul of So Yong. Somehow, like a true kdrama, they left me with everything and nothing. It was a sad destiny, really.
Yeah, I'm going to take a K-Drama break for a while. Can't take the heartache. Plus, there's nothing that comes close to the uniqueness of this plot nor the execution (1-19 that is). I don't have time to binge any 60 episode CDramas either so I might just tune into some Hollywood fare. Speaking of which, with the originality of the story and the high ratings, do you think that they would make an American version? They tried something similar years ago called Switch, but it was back when homophobia was at its peak because of the AIDS epidemic. I think that if they did an American or European remake, the ending would be more satisfactory...though it'd be hard to find actors with the chemistry of these two. That'd be the only hard sell for me.
@@dostagirl9551 I agree. Just like with the Cdrama, the plot can always be recycled. But this show has such a delicious cast esemble that would take a one in a million chance to replicate. And oh! The chemistry of those two is just so undeniable! Although, I would agree with you that if there is an American or European remake, we might have gotten the ending we wanted. But then again, it wouldnt have the same effect doesnt it?
It is heartbreaking for the chef but the king did fall in love with the queen after all. Observing the actress that played the queen you could see the queen coming through as well. She deserves an award. As for the chef I just wanted to hug him at the end but you have to remember that the king was responding to the queen.
Yes i agree with you many peopke said that the king fell in love with bong hwan but i think no because we can see soyong more dominant at the body after ep 8 or 9 if i not wrong
If the story is about the king loves the real queen, than why in the world he(choljeong) said, "why you talked to me politely?" in the very last scene episode 20?? It means that he doesnt know the queen he is in love with is not the same anymore. Back to episodes 10, when sobong walked and talked to the king in a graceful manner like a perfect queen, choljeong was scared by him. He asked sobong should act just the way he is. And when sobong get him self back, cj mumbling, "that's my queen". It is the prove that he loves the queen who act wildly which that means is bonghwan.
@@sweetscrappythings8157 well it was adlibs by Kim Junghyun, not in the script :) overall I thought both souls were in charge of Queen, and Soyoung is the owner of the heart and the body, so it is a win-win for all
@@sweetscrappythings8157 the king need to hide his true feeling to soyong because she came from andong kim clan which is his enemy..so he consider the queen as the same..
Anyone else felt that the writers might have alluded to CJ and SB making love in that rebel camp? I know she was wounded, but it was a shallow wound (she didn't actually show any pain until he started to clean the wound and was find the next day too). It's just the way that they kissed and continued to kiss as the camera drifted off just has my mind whirling. It's very similar to other love-making scenes from other KDramas. I spoke earlier about societal pressures leading to the ending but feel the writers were "all in" for this couple and just had to do as they were told. Maybe this was their way of slipping something in? It could also account for how sexually charged the scene was in the cart...with memories of that night still fresh on their minds. But perhaps I'm just reaching here.
I'm just happy we got a sober kiss lol. Idk why some people keep saying that bonghwan didn't love Cheoljong. Yes he was denying it at first but he accepted it and was confirmed with that kiss.
I think the drama might shows that human can have dual minds(?) in one body. I mean, in the rational, strategic part BH leads SY's body while in the emotional or sexual part SY would control her body. So, I think this is not gay love between the king and SB.
@@heran6899 It's not gay love at all. It's a love that transcends sexual labels. BH is straight. However, he's not really BH in this context...he's So Bong. Souls are genderless with as much possibility of being born male as female, so I see his "rebirth" in SY's body as a type of reincarnation but one where he hasn't drunk from the waters of forgetfulness. He does struggle with it for a while, but the show clearly shows his evolution as the story progresses. To me, their relationship was the ultimate one in which physical appearance was not so much a factor as their souls connecting and loving each other.
@@dostagirl9551 I love your comment that "souls are genderless." I totally agree with you. I feel sometimes souls are ageless too. I admire the love of the president's couple in France. It is unusual, but it is possible indeed! I like this drama because it triggers me to think or imagine somehow in different ways in relation to gender and sexuality. Nowadays, many researchers say, our brain is the most critical factor as in gender or sexuality.
