Probably one of the most debatable battles ever, but I'd have to give it Double L for bringing more to the table, with bars and jokes. Mr RE showed he can compete with the top tier though smashed it, some very sick bars.

Why is it northern crowds prefer mum jokes and swear words over bars?

They could do a whole 30 minute Bad Bars episode using only round 1.

Before this I only saw Mr Re against Bamalam. Gonna be checking out more of him, brilliant.

This crowd doesn't do the battle justice, both had good rounds but the silence ruined it. And Mr RE 2-1 but not as easy as the lotta battle.

Did something happen between Double L and Dizaster when he came to Don't Flop last time? He mentions Dizaster at 19:54 . Overall they both did good and brought some bars but the crowd were sleeping on the bars. This venue should have been held in Brixton, London.

It depends on your preference. As for Double L, he had more bars for once and his delivery displays his experience. Hopefully he can keep this up as well. Great battle

The UK battle league has a lot of diversity which makes this league very unique than other battle leagues out there. The different battlers, diversities and characteristics can make the battle go either way... OBVIOUSLY, but the point is this could lead to bad match ups such as jokes over bars etc which can sometimes work for some or be frustrating to watch. I dont really want to get started about the crown, I just think this battle was a higher caliber battle that probably should have been held else where who knows like London maybe? Other than that great battle, been watching these two for a while and was waiting to see how this battle would turn out. I would say both Mr re & Double L are capable of portraying serious punch lines, word play and jokes. I gave it to Mr re 2 - 1 Mr re handled the crowed well with no stumble even though his bars were slept on, but this is due to the crowed adapting to his style. He had great set ups and unique delivery, underrated for the time being ... Double L has style, confidence and bars which makes him easily likable, I personally feel he could of come a bit stronger which he is defiantly capable of.

Most of Mr Re's bars only just about make enough sense for them to get reaction, not many are actually what I'd consider good bars. He's got no angle except for telling him his bars are jokes. He didn't break L down at all. Double L won it for me 2-1 but both these guys are average.

Fully enjoyed this battle but I think double took it 2-1, crowd were mad sleepy on RE tho he went hard but I think that was one of the best Double L performances yet. Top tier

As someone who's disliked MR RE since the Frequent Thought robbery either someone's writing for him or he's put a hell of a lot more effort into his bars, Double L is always a laugh and he's been on the up but MR RE took this easily for me, third round could almost have been a double round win, Mr re bossed him, can't wait to see them both again though

Good battle and one of Double L's best performances for a while. They were both good but Double L took it imo. Double L is a lot better when he really puts the work in.

Re won but he needs to cut the pantomime eye rolls and general disrespect when other rappers are spitting. I know its a reality of the game and a lot of top battlers do it (shotty, all the americans & generally bare mans) but frankly - you've got to have more charisma to pull that shit off. He should stay composed and try to listen. His bars are the bars of a thinking man. If he acted like one, he'd take off.

1st round DL easy RE few good uns but bad bars or weak 2nd 2nd maybe a draw. both s hard right 1st off sorry the long round the houses explanation. but if u wanna read do, but im smashed n lean as, on a 7am finish. this is my 2nd watching. both times i didnt know who i wanted to win; Double L represents the perfect battle mc. he has got it all to really push on and be a top tier don that was respeverywhere. his balance between his personality/stage presence/ flow, accident and delivery with a swagge r. boom. just needs to take himself 1 level higher to boss. this battle was tough for me. after R.E vs lottazay i became a big fan, when just too many bad bars or bad simple rhymes and stillll he is one of my favourites for potential...so many hard rhymes and puchlines in just 1 of his rounds than even top top tiers cant do. he is relentless. but all of it needs to be fire mixed wth a switch up. so much wank brings him down. he needs addapt and making all those punchlines thatd do smash hard. keep his best and go The Rock from wwe as an example to character. slow down and crack a few more ice breaker jokes every now and then. he will be fucking amazing. DL for me is just a funnier better Lunar C. if they awapped bars. lunar would still win with dls bars. both could be top tier 1) if DL wnted to ) MR RE refines his style more effective and entertaining in between. cool chat bro lol
