Actually it’s not cause you can’t hear their heavy breath or anything due to choreography and the voices are too accurate to be totally live. Nevertheless their voices are amazing and stan Aespa for cleaner vocals❤️
To everyone saying this is pre recorded- The choreo for Next Level is not as straining as Black Mamba - they dont jump around as much nor have that many difficult moves either so they do not run out of breath as much therefore their vocals are very stable and clear its not rocket science. Also SM groups are just great live vocalists - its a big focus of their training
i think its unavoidable that they're lipsyncing or doing pre-recorded live from time to time, but all groups do that on account of certain choreographies being harder and more taxing than others. for aespa, it doesn't matter anymore because they've proven beyond a shadow of a doubt in terms of all those acapella vocal performances and whatnot that they can absolutely sing for real. they've got nothing to hide
it's live vocals with backtrack vocals idk how to explain but it's live. karina and giselle obviously raw vocals while some parts of ningning and winter has backtrack vocals to support.
I was gonna second this. Theres definitely some support happening with back tracks and its blended pretty well. But compared to previous stages, this one is mostly live vocals.
Sometimes if you really need more training on your breathing support your gonna sing underwater or sometimes just try to control your breath underwater to improve your breathing support.

it’s so funny how everytime i watch a mr removed of groups under sm, people would always suspect it’s pre-recorded but it’s actually not 😂 as far as i know, sm trained them to sing while running which is why im not surprised sm artists are always so stable

The performance is more like 20% live, 80% lipsyncing/prerecorded, or maybe full recorded by looking at their movements and mouth. Where is the sound of their hard movements? They should sing full live or atleast 70% live, their choreography isn't that hard. Why tf they keep recorded their live singing, can't they just sing tf live while performing on stage? I don't like extreme lipsync group.

everyone is obsessed with breathing too much or having their voices tremble or not opening their mouths too much. 1. SM artists are always experienced with breathing and adjust it. he even complained about a member not adjusting their breathing during NCT performances. 2.If you've listened to Shinee, you'll see they sound like that too Shinee is also like a pre-recorded group but they actually sing live. 3.Aespa members do not open their mouths much even when hitting high notes, if you are someone who follows them in detail, you should know this.

@@junglucy5000 that's Music Bank performance the audio quality are different, and Monster choreo are way more difficult than Next Level. Besides this performance are using LMR (just like most group), so some part are still not live but they're sing live mostly. Even the k-fans comment that Karina pronounced a word wrong so they think it's live. If their singing bad y'all will say they can't sing and when they sing stable people are saying it's pre-recorded☠️ You can choose to not believe but I'm staying with mine
Definitely live, there are some parts that they sing a bit flat/sharp WHICH IS NORMAL FOR LIVE PERFORMANCES. Some words have different intonation, and Ningning's "motae" doesn't have vibrato in it. etc. I'm looking forward to more performances from them!!!!! They are amazing. I am in love with Winter
Perhaps people should watch Girls' generation debut stage, SM idols always good at singing and dancing, I'm not surprised Aespa is on this level because their senior did that before.

I personally believe that this is live. I’m a MY and I honestly think that their choreography makes it doable or easier for them to sing live without heavy breathings in between.
It’s defo a pre-recorded sound. up and down arm movements expand your chest want it or not, rapid arm and body movements force the air out, change chest capacity, involve giaphragm tension, even if they are highly trained (which I’m sure they are) their efforts to stabilize the sound will lead to some vocal changes which we don’t hear in this case. I just wish their choreo was less intence so that we could appreciate their live singing

i remember looking at the stage and thinking, i wonder how close this sounds to the studio when live because you can definitely tell that they're singing live in those stages as well and i'm pleasantly surprised they have really stable voices, definitely one of the best 4th gen girl groups
You can literally hear how the sound of their voices bounces from the mic. Just try shouting 'haaaaaah!!!' to a mic and you'll hear that similar bounce of air / sound of your voice. How tf some are saying this is pre-recorded 😭😭😭
i believe they always sing live since ningning herself said it though it gets overshadowed by the backtrack... also, due to their technique, you can't really hear em breathing.. i believe it’s part of sm training :D

I don't think this is pre-recorded because you can hear the slight difference of how winter sing at 0:30 than normally what original audio sounds like. I guess some of you made you that they are lip-synching because they sounded so stable

My reason is in MBC fancams the vocals are heard much better and winter didnt do the high note. Meanwhile in her it sounds exactly like the pre recorded one. This is still a live one and im so amazed by their skills

There's a specific training that SM gives to their artist to control breathing I'm sure. CMIIW but if you look closely on any sm artists fancam, you'll see they breathing less with their mouths and seems so focused on keeping their breaths controlled. That's why people see SM artist has this somewhat characteristic on stage bc of focused they look
