Good chat! The most recent spike in hate has come from people who think JuJu Watkins should be shoulder to shoulder with Caitlin. She is obviously incredibly talented as well, but she is a freshman, and has plenty of time in front of her to create her own niche. She may very well break Caitlin's records, and I doubt that Caitlin will have any bitterness over it. She always speaks about her teammates, opponents, and coaches before answering reporters/commentators questions about her game, performance, or anything. It' always about everyone else. She is as humble as she can be. The hate is born purely from jealousy. No matter what, I am so proud of our ladies. Go Hawkeyes!!

For confirmation, watch Iowa Vs Penn State, where Caitlin fed Hannah Stuelke the ball time and again. Hanna was hot and Caitlin fed her, along with other teammates all the way to a 47 point all career High Score, And A New Carver-Hawkeye Arena Record........Caitlin passed up shots she'd ordinarily have taken to Help Hannah keep her Hot Streak Going & when the game ended Hannah was so High she was 3 feet off the ground and Hovering...As she should have been....Yeah they got her the ball, but she Made The Shots. Caitlin's being Unselfish about "Taking all the shots, Etc." is pretty well disproven anyway, but that one game shows it for any and all to see

OK, I'll say it: The underlying reason in my opinion is Swoop's t-shirt, which pretty much says it all: Female, Fearless and BLACK.... which appears then, to be an issue with her; thus when any " non-black" opponent does very well and is greatly loved by their fans, it likely erodes her melatonin emphasis; And any of us who have watched Caitlin Clark, for the last several years, knows, that CC would never entertain such a thought, let alone wear a t-shirt like: "female, fearless and white"..... she wouldn't do that. She's just a good Basketball player - respectful of her opponents and fans. If I'm wrong about Swoops then I deeply apologize.... but I don't think so.

I been watching bball players for over 60 years and Caitlin is one of the most entertaining and skilled players of either sex i have seen.To put out a declaration that she won't be a great pro player is just sour grapes.Throw in the blatant lies and its really an ugly look for Swoops.

After CC and Iowa upset unbeaten defending champion South Carolina in the semis to shock the world they were not going to let that happen again in the finals against LSU which is why she got in foul trouble on touch fouls and they stopped Clark from getting 50 in the championship game. She was hitting 30 foot shots in the first half it was amazing all of a sudden they start calling bulshit her coach puts her on the bench and the the game is over in the quarter. It was no accident all this b******* happened. The referees are part of Kim Mulkeys family.

Swoops shirt says it all! Clark is the best woman college basketball player I’ve seen in my time and will probably never see this kind of talent again! With that said, Clark is hated because she is white and NOT a lesbian! It’s that simple! She doesn’t need the WNBA, the WNBA NEEDS her and they know it! She will receive much racism from the black players and much sexism from the lesbians but everything I’ve read and heard about this young lady is that she is a very well rounded woman who is liked by everyone she comes in contact with. You whole country should be happy what she is doing for womans sports. a friend in maryland who is a maryland fan watches the iowa womens bb games last 3 years with me well from 1000 miles away but we text about it all during the games. He said how can anyone not love CC and iowa wbb. I got him watching wbb now and he loves to make fun of the womens national soccer team so its kinda huge that hes watching the iowa games now and cheering for CC. He was hoping for an MD upset of course but he said he was hoping every shot CC made went in and was happy when they did. we been counting down the records, scoring, 3 pointers and assists and he wants CC to stay at iowa another year to get the assist record and put the score record so far out of reach it will never be touched. oh he hates Angel btw. The recent girls basketball movie with Drakes, Ava Hawthorne called New Providence was made in my old jr high gym. Google Arick Baker In an Instant. My mom babysat him as a baby and his mom was 1 my teachers. Also google Amy Fuller corn rake murder. She was in my class growing up. on my tee ball team. sunday school class, summer bible school class, did fundraisers together. painted sunday school rooms together. She was the good church girl you never wouldve guessed would cheat on husband. So nice to have Iowa in the spot light for good things. Google steve hartman on the road Iowa Falls for a nice story. Also Hugh jackmans agent now owns the iowa falls movie theater. Hugh was there for a movie premiere. I missed it cause Im in arkansas in walmarts home town now. Hugh reportedly said he wouldn't mind retiring to iowa falls. Said he really loved his stay there. i hope they make a caitlin clark movie. like field of dreams and the kurt warner movie. and have it about iowa wbb too. I get it I’m a fat father of 3 living in NYC. I’ve never watched women’s basketball before in my life. But when Iowa played Rutgers I tried to buy tickets to no avail. So I have to wait for the highlight videos on RU-vid. But I’m up at 3am checking the scores and Caitlin’s stats. And after ever game I’m like she’s done it again. 30 plus points 8-10 assists 9/10 rebounds. It’s electric. But Caitlin is special. It’s the same feeling I get from my childhood watching Michael Jordan, tiger woods or Lawrence Taylor. No matter what the outcome they did amazing things like Clark does in every game. Love Caitlin. When Kelsey Plum surpassed all time NCAA WBB scoring record there didn't seem to be the same hew and cry that surrounds Clark. In part for Caitlin, she has stellar teammates that round out the on court action. Not to mention, #22 is a great assister. Keep it real.

I understand the fact that elite players and teams are polarizing... in any sport at any level. There are great teams/players that I am bitter about because they got in the way of teams/players I preferred. However, there are no objective criteria on which to negate Caitlin's abilities and results. Thus, most of the negative commentary involves vague references, no supporting data, or in this case, falsehoods.
Yes, it is racism, blacks are mad cause a white person is dominating a sport usually mostly black. Also black women are jealous cause a white woman is getting attention from LeBron, Steph ,Shaq and other black basketball players that they aren't getting. Catlin has often been called the female Steph Curry , no black women been called that. Also in the championship game, the referees won that game for LSU calling fouls on Iowa, 2 of their main players on the bench fouled out with 3:26 left in game. After Iowa a mostly all white team with a white coach beat undefeated South Carolina, black team, black coach, there was no way in he'll, Iowa was going to be allowed to win the championship.

I'm Excited!!! She's gonna win the people over. We will start watching the WNBA and only mainly her games, they will be must watch and it will slowly grow to an acceptable amount of people watching. Everyone hates a winner except for the fan base that she plays for. My Wildcats beat Iowa earlier this year (and last year too). However, I admire this generational talent and am thankful that I get to witness her greatness.
